With so many fnaf spin offs already created and more in the process what do you think of the fnaf fan games?

And which fnaf fan game do you like? I really liked One Night At Flumpty's and looking forward to playing Sister Location once its released.

I like some of the games because they take the franchise into new and interesting territory. FNAC put an interesting spin on it, with the glowing eye stuff and all that, and with games like TJOCR we have a full freeroam FNAF game, though I honestly am more excited for the official games more, and there are some games that are really bad, I won't mention them for the sake of their creators, but still.

This picture indicates the game's development progress, It's pretty neat if you wanna use it yourself.

I think they're alright. I'm not really in the FNAFandom anymore, but I'm not really against it. As long as people put effort into their games, then I think it's completely justified. They're just doing what fans do, keeping the culture alive.

One Night at Flumpy's 2 was especially a favorite. It was original, had a great art-style and unique mechanics that many today try to replicate.

As for the future of Scott's games, I think he should wrap up the series. Finish the story and leave it at that. We've got a book (Three more on the way), 6 games (including Sister Location and FNAFWorld), and a movie all in one or two years. While SisLocation is looking good, I think he should put an end to it. If he's going to keep tip-toeing with the games' stories, then he should leave that to the books.

Like I said, I've got nothing against FNAF. In fact, I still follow and support SCawthon. I just think he's milking it a bit too much and I believe FNAF deserves an honorable burial.

I think they are all terrible, just like the games they are based on. Most of them are just a cheap ploy to rip off the FNAF games to get popular or make a quick buck. The actual FNAF games aren't even good in the first place so inferior fan games are not exactly good either.

Absolutely hate the original games, never tried/bothered seeing and checking out fan games, no way I'd enjoy them.

Not that It's my place to judge either of your opinions, if you don't like FNAF as a whole, fair enough, but why reply here if you have nothing to add to the situation? Criticism is fine, but all you're gonna do by posting these is make the thread creator and any FNAF fans without a reasonable sense of opinion mad.

PS. I know this'll sound rich coming from a FNAF fan, but even if I did think it a bad game, there are MUCH worse games out there, let's not turn FNAF into the next internet punching bag OK?

Every single FNAF fan game I have seen thus far has been absolute trash and I already think the original games were not good to begin with, so it is a valid criticism. When you are trying to imitate something that lacks quality and can't even get up to that level either, there is a problem.

Look man, It's fine if you don't like the game, but to say FNAF has NO quality to it at all, sounds ridiculous, even the biggest nay sayers of the franchise I've seen can at least understand why It's so popular.

I love the FNaF games. With beating the first one, and working on the second one. My thing is the fear factor of the games, since I enjoy being scared.

As FNaF fan games go. I play FNaF world. It's a well-constructed game that takes the animatronics of the FNaF series and making it into a RPG.

I think some of them are good some just have broken mechanics which makes it difficult to play. I hope they uncancel the next flumptys since it looked really good.

That is true or some just have to many glitches which make it unplayable and I do as well I loved the one night at flumpty's games.

I agree the free roams were an awesome take on the games and some of the fan games looked amazing as well with the graphics, but I am looking forward to the release of sister location hoping its good.

Nothing wrong with that I do agree he should put an end to the games especially since the stories kept flip flopping and started making no sense and fnaf world was a total fail so he should make sister location the last game everything must come to an end at some point, but flumpty's that was a fun game.

Because this thread is discussing a computer game series, I have gone ahead and moved it to Media Discussion.

Thanks sorry about that.

That's perfectly fine everybody is entitled to their own opinion so if you don't like fnaf that's perfectly fine to me I like the fnaf games except for fnaf 3 and I enjoyed some of the fan games others were quite bad.

That is perfectly fine as well everybody has a right to their own opinion so its fine if you don't like them I enjoy the fnaf games except for fnaf 3.

I mean, I never played FNAF games but FNAF Fan Games? Nope.

That's fine their not that bad and some fan games are good others not so much.

I mainly like them just because of how stupid they are most of the time XD. But I also love to see the new features and animatronics developers put in

It is the same thing over and over again so it does get tiring at times, but it is cool to see what mechanics they use and what the animatronics are going to look like.

I agree fnaf games are good I don't like the 3rd one it just threw the story off and only had 1 animatronic in it, but it does have a good fear factor which if a horror game can make you jump its a good one.

There's too many and a lot of people who play it I think are a little bit too young. The first game was good because it was pretty original, I feel the later games are a little bit stale but I get why people enjoy them. I do like the massive story behind them though because of how mysterious it all is.

I agree the first fnaf was good its my favorite actually, but as the games went on the story kept flip flopping I recently played and beat sister location and the story is interesting, but need to fit in with the other games so another flip flop, but the story is interesting as for sister location it lacked in the fear department in my opinion.

The games are too overrated, but why should I complain? MLP is also really popular too.

Once a game has been created and becomes successful it does become overrated and the more that's made sometimes the worse it becomes and other times it succeeds, but that's not the case for all games of course there is a lot of games that have become successful and they are still amazing to this day.

The only game I feel that right now has became immune to overratedness is Undertale.

Well, a lot of Fan Games are just cheap Knock Offs of the Original with slightly different Animatronics.

I mean sure, some of the new Animatronics look cute, but the games have the same Problems, i have with the real Series.

Its repetitive and doesnt really feature a cut scene, important Dialog or...anything.

Its just sitting in a Room for a few Hours until you get an Victory Screen, that completely destroys the Atmosphere.

There are however two games i really liked, Five Nights at Flumptys ( i think ) for the effort and the great Art and Animation and The Joy of Creation : Reborn, for actually being an more interesting and better looking game, than the original.

I used to like it, the first one I mean. But now, it seems boring and played out. Even the first one is terribly repetitive. I mean, I see that it's probably not marketed to my demographic. So the thought of disliking it with a vengeance is almost expected. But alas, humans will like what they like and there's nothing I can do.
