music When was the last time music made you cry

This is a pretty straightforward question. Music is a powerful thing. It can make us feel a wide array of emotions. Sometimes slightly, sometimes immensely. Music is almost like an emotional gateway.

For me, music can make me feel inspired, happy, or even immense sadness. Oddly enough, if a song makes me cry, I love it even more, because sometimes crying is something we must do to let out feelings that we have bottled up.

So this thread is for the last time any music has ever made you cry. What song has made you do this last?

For me, it was last night and it is a track from Deadman Wonderland. It is a track that seems to embody hopelessness and loss and it hit me really hard emotionally. Listening to it right now still makes me feel emotional.

Well, I think I've kind of teared up I think over music before. Music that is beautiful, that seemed to have caused me to tear up just a bit. But actually crying? Last time was when I was like 10, listening to I've Got to Find a Way from MLP, combined with some very stupid reason to be sad that I'm embarrassed to say. I was 10 at the time and a lot more sensitive, and now I don't ever cry at all unless it's just a couple of reflex tears that decided to come out of my eye for no reason.

Hard to say, since it takes a ton of power to push emotion out of me. But the one moment that last hit me real hard was the BGM at 22:19 in this famous brony short film:

I think it was a music video tribute to a young Jewish girl who was murdered in her sleep by a palestinian. She was loved by the entire neighborhood and good things were seen ahead of her. And her life was cut short by a heartless monster, whose hometown proceeded to hand out candy and celebrate the terrible deed.

How many heard of that story? Not too many I think. Got brushed under the rug as it always does.

And that’s the bottom line, ‘cause Stone Cold said so!

Last night, twice, both songs reminded me of past lives

This one because it reminds me of the Witch Hunts and how in that past life I was wrongfully accused of dark magic and to be the first at being burned at the stake

And this one kind of reminds me of the life before that one where I was a Pirate Captain

(If you want to discuss my past lives with me, pm me please)
