In fact, finding new interests and discussing those interests with the people around you or online is a good way to make friends, like I did when I started roleplaying and then again when I started posting here. Or it'd be weird to watch Die Hard if you aren't a buff action hero cop. Your interest in media has nothing to do with your lifestyle. Not like it would've mattered when I started watching MLP; it's not like I watch it to learn how to make friends. To anyone who watches it and does learn the power of friendship from it, though, I'm glad for them. Rather, I watched the show out of curiosity to know what the fuss was all about, and BOOM!
