Who are some comedians that are in the wrong line of work?

I'll start with an easy one: Dane Cook.

He's one of those comedians who confuses being crude and vulgar with being funny.

If your joke involves the words 'penis' or 'vagina'(or any variant) three times before the punchline, it's probably not a good joke.

I don't follow comedians enough to name any, but anything crude and lacking wit is an automatic channel-switcher.

Most comedians who think they have to swear and be sexual in order to be funny. I don't know any names but I can't stand comedians these days. There are hardly any clean ones now.

If you ask me, Jon Cryer, Seth Rogen, Katt Williams, and Larry the Cable Guy are pretty dumb excuses for comedians.

-Will Ferrell. He can be funny sometimes, but in most of his movies or roles he seems to act like a screaming jackass.

 

-Jonah Hill. The only good role he had was a side character in Grandma's Boy. Every other role, he comes off as whiny and douchey.

 

-Pauly Shore. Watch Bio-Dome. Nuff said.

Will Ferrel....I just can't stand him. Larry the Cable Guy has definitely worn thin as well. Seth Rogan would have to be on my list as well cuz to be honest I am not sure I have liked any movie he has done other than Monsters vs Aliens and that was just voice work so...

Oh and Jack Black is overrated as well!

Dane Cook is the epitome of 'not funny'. I cannot think of a single time that a joke of his that has EVER made me even chuckle.

 

I also think Jeff Dunham lost his spark a loooooooooooooooooong time ago. Not too long after his 'Arguing With Myself' special. Once that skyrocketed him into the mainstream, he went downhill drastically. So much so that he got is own TV show that was horrendous and didn't last beyond one season.

Add me to the list of people who think Larry the Cable Guy is terrible, he certainly doesn't seem particularly popular on this thread.  Same goes for Dane Cook.  I am surprised nobody has mentioned Adam Sandler yet, or his partner in crime Kevin James.

 

I will stick up for Will Ferrell though.  I honestly don't think the problem is his acting, I think the problem is the crap that movie makers keep putting him in.  Look at a movie like Elf, do you honestly think using an actor other than Will Ferrell would be able to salvage that kind of mess?

Leslie Jones. I was first exposed to her repertoire on ABC's Match Game revival and I had to mute the TV whenever she spoke. She was loud, obnoxious and even abusive at times. She's a terrible person in real life, too.

In the Netherlands we have the Oudejaarsconference, which is pretty much a comedian chosen to reflect on the year. This year was done by a woman called Claudia de Breij and she was absolutely terrible. I gave up watching after 20 minutes because none of her jokes got even the slightest hint of a smile on my face. It was absolutely cringeworthy. The Twitter comments about her show were a lot funnier.
