animation Is Frozen worthy a watch?

Hey there. I need a little advice: Frozen is the only post-The Princess and the Frog (the Movie with which Disney started to be great again) that I haven't seen yet. In past I wanted to watch but I never found the time to do it..... then one day a very close friend of me told me that that movie made him.... "going diarrea like no other Movies ever did in past" (yeah he literally said that) and as he was my friend I was always scared of watching that Movie because it could have compromised our friendship.... sadly afterward we had a terrible disagreement because I realized he was a fu****g hypocrite, and we broken up. So, here I am. At the starting point, with no idea of what to do.

I don't care about the hype it got in past, I just want to know it's worthy a simple watch or should just leave it skipped. What should I do guys?

Well go watch the damn movie if you want.

Personally, I thought it was atrocious. Frozen takes a beautifully tragic story and fills it to the brim with cringeworthy, sitcom-esque comedic elements. The tone of the backstory clashes so badly with the comedy in the foreground... it made the viewing experience extremely painful for me.

If this film was played straight with little-to-no attempts at humor, I feel as though it could have been something spectacular, but the way it is, it came off as a (poorly) animated romantic-comedy flick.

I would go for it, it's not bad as many say. Frozen is not your typical Disney princess movie.

^ I can definitely agree there. Frozen is most assuredly not your typical Disney princess movie. Every typical Disney princess movie in existence completely shits on Frozen (unless you count those awful straight to DVD sequels ofc).

If you want to go ahead, but I thought it was somewhat mediocre personally...

The plot was extremely predictable, in my opinion (I knew the big plot twist would happen by around 10 minutes in or so...)

The musical part is actually pretty good, not as bad as it is sang by EVERYONE ELSE... (Let it Go out of tune is a migraine and a half)

The characterization was meh. Nothing stood out, other than the trolls for being so freaking annoying, and Olaf for being an idiot.

Not saying it was an ATROCIOUS movie, because I don't think it was. I'd probably rate it a solid 2.5 of 5 stars or so. But it's not the best surely.

(Though in my opinion Disney movies aren't what they are cracked up to be with a few exceptions. #Fightme.)

Sure, give it a try. It's certainly not my favorite but it's good enough for a view. Obviously lots of people did like it quite a lot and maybe you'll be one of them. It never hurts to take a look.

I find that whenever I watch it, it holds my attention and generally entertains me. I can see its many flaws, but if I completely write off every movie with flaws, there would be no movies to watch. So take a look and see where it takes you.

Well the first time it was fine, the next 20 weren't.

Guess who got stuck watching cousins when it got released to home video? In a way I didn't have to do much but I still had to hear it 20 times.

Not your typical Disney princess movie that's for sure.
