I'm guessing they would have actually done like Sunset Shimmer and reformed her, considering she reformed later of her own free will. We don't really know how the elements work, but it seems like they tend to reform whenever possible, like what they did with NM/Luna the second time and Sunset. Discord might be a special case since he's the "Spirit of Chaos" and all that, so maybe the elements themselves can't do anything to him in that regard.

If Starlight Glimmer had been blasted with the Elements of Harmony, her decision to reform might've made more sense in the grand scheme of things, as it wouldn't have felt as though it came out of left field. It also would've explained why Starlight's behavior changed so much between the Season 5 finale and the Season 6 premiere, as her madness would've been "cured" by the Elements' magic.

You do need to add an "other" option to the poll.  My opinion is that what happens depends on "When did they blast her?" If it was when they didn't have their Cutie Marks, maybe nothing would have happened. Also, IMO the Elements affected Luna because she was possessed & Discord because he is the embodiment of Chaos (the opposite of Harmony).  Starlight was just misguided, maybe that wouldn't be enough for the Elements to act.  Maybe the Elements would decide not having Cutie Marks was actually more harmonious.  Lots of possibilities.

This is the timeline where Mane 6 escaped Starlight's cave in Part 1 and in Part 2 Mane 6 blasted her with the elements at the end

Mane 6 succesfully escaped in this timeline avoiding Starlight's equality prophoganda

By avoiding it they can go back to Ponyville to take the chest of harmony and go back to Starlight's village and blast her with the elements

The elements will still petrified her 

It's still work

The first blast:1000 years imprisonment

Second blast:Petrified to death(Unless if you're Discord you will not die)

The second blast will turned the victim into stone but also it will kill the victim's life while the first blast is just imprisonment for 1000 years

This is why I have continually pushed Starlight as the superior character, there's actual connections between her as a villain and her as a heroic character, Sunset lacks all of those.

Sadly the thing doesn't work on writers' pets and other such vermin. Use Starlight Breaker or Ragna Blade instead. These would send her somewhere alright

Both of those options seem very unlikely. When Nightmare Moon was blasted after her return, she was cured of whatever the Nightmare was and reverted to her nicer state as Princess Luna. Because of that, I think blasting Starlight with the Elements would cause her to reform a lot more quickly, and yes, basically make her Sunset 2.0 - a character relatively lacking in flaws who becomes boring the second her immediate post-reformation anxieties dissipate, and who has little in common with her prior characterization. (I maintain that "Friendship Games" came very close to keeping that continuity, and might have succeeded if the movie had time to add a subplot around that.) If you ask me, Starlight's already in serious danger of that if the writers ever decide she's done with the whole reformation arc; I still don't think she has all that many character traits beyond her flaws and anxieties, which could go away at any minute.

Anyway, I think Discord and Nightmare Moon were treated the way they were because of the nature of their magic. Starlight is just a normal, if particularly adept, unicorn, and that she was able to perceive the error of her ways to whatever extent without the Elements makes me think that they'd just speed up the process.

It's just that pre-reformation Starlight and post-reformation Starlight feel like two very different characters to me, that's all.

If Starlight truly became a Sunset Shimmer 2.0, she would at least have to face actual consequences to her actions and not have everything handed to her on a silver platter.

She also wouldn't have continually made the mistake of stripping ponies of their free will multiple times after being reformed.

And she would have had an actual connection/believable friendship with the remane 5 outside of only interacting with them in crappy montages that are used to sidestep her facing any major repercussions for her actions.
