Sovereign Leader Rarity 12,023 May 16, 2017 Share May 16, 2017 You know those moments when you know that you could lose everything that you have ever worked for in a matter of minutes, all because of some stupid mistakes that you try to desperately put behind you. Well, I was in one of those. The thought of letting yourself stoop to such an embarrassingly low level and to commit such terrible acts just for the sake of your own superficial pride and social status is crushing, and the thought that your future is held in another's hands and that it could all be over for you then and there is terrifying. My whole life was nearly stripped away from me that day, and I NEVER want to experience that feeling again.
Stone Cold Steve Jobs 22,500 May 17, 2017 Share May 17, 2017 That's a tough one. when i was in 8th grade this kid at my bus stop would regularly get bullied by these two girls my age. They would fight near every day. One day later in the school year i was walking home from the bus stop and the girls were confronting him again. I heard them scuffle and curse, and then I heard a loud bang, followed by the girls shrieking and running away. I turned my head and saw that kid pointing a dark L shaped object at a fence. He hadn't shot at them, but the fence. The next day when i went back to the bus stop i checked the fence. There was a bullet hole in it. I informed the teachers at school what I witnessed and described the boy, and I heard no more word of it. another time years later, I was in my room playing a game. I was sick that day, and there was commotion outside. Again, I heard another loud bang, this time right outside my house. I checked out the window and saw some guy in a cap running across my lawn with an L shaped object in his hand as well. I swear part of me still feels like they were both hallucinations. 1 And that’s the bottom line, ‘cause Stone Cold said so!
Nerdy Luigi 2,065 May 17, 2017 Share May 17, 2017 (edited) The time I almost got arrested for robbery at a Wal-Mart while I was X-mas shopping. Yeah, they mistook me trying to get all of my items in the bag for trying to hide something, and I dropped the receipt so I couldn't tell them otherwise until they found the receipt on the ground. They asked me what time I got to the checkout, and I accidentally let out a lie under pressure. If it wasn't found, I could have been arrested... (I mean it was only about $20 worth of stuff, but still the thought frightened me...) There's also a few nights in a row I was scared really bad from reading too much creepypasta. I knew the stories aren't real (well, for the most part... There are a few with basis in real happenings... I know a YouTuber who wrote one that was based on a nightmare), but I was scared by them anyways. I had daydreams (well, right before I went to sleep) involving monstrosities from some of them... Dynamo Pad 11,665 May 18, 2017 Share May 18, 2017 I would have to say when I thought I saw a spider in my parent's bed. I fell asleep in my parents room and was woken up by my mom. It was the middle of the night and when she said spider, I freaked out and jumped out of bed. I was about to keep running and run right through the door. I found out that it was just a fuzz and I soon calmed down, but I never felt my heart race that quickly in my life. There was also the time I thought I couldn't use my debit card. It was just a few weeks ago when this had happened. I was in California with my sister for BABScon and we went to Universal. When I went to buy something with my card, the debit card was invalid. I freaked out and wasn't sure what was going on. After calling my bank to make sure everything was settled, After making it to San Francisco, I tried to use my card again, but the same problem had occurred. I started to freak out and I almost cried. I was worried I wouldn't be able to use my card and buy anything. The first day of the convention I tried to use my card to buy something from the vendor hall. Thankfully, my card worked and I was able to enjoy my time at the convention. 1 My OC: Dynamo Pad: https://mlpforums.com/roleplay-world/roleplay-characters-sheets/original-characters/dynamo-pad-r44/ Signature made by Sparklefan1234
NotoriousSMALL 1,984 May 18, 2017 Share May 18, 2017 My friend and I went kayaking once, our goal was to kayak to the other side of the bay and back. It was like 4 or 5 miles across between the point in which we were embarking and where we were headed. At the start the bay was pretty flat but when we got about half way out there the waves started to get pretty bad and eventually we realized we were not moving at all, we were essentially on a treadmill made out of waves, and on top of it every now and then we'd hit a wave wrong and the kayak would fill up. We didn't take anything to bail out our kayak so my friend started using the plastic inside of a lunchbox which was extremely inefficient, and the kayak would fill up pretty fast Of course I alone couldn't keep up with the waves so we went from treadmilling to just being pushed back so we decided to call it off and kayak back but the waves were constantly crashing into the back of us now and flooding us more so he would have to keep stopping to bail us out when we finally arrived back at the boat ramp that we used to embark we were essentially sitting in a bath tub lol. last winter we tried again successfully with a lot less problems. Dreambiscuit 11,037 May 18, 2017 Share May 18, 2017 (edited) I almost drowned when I was a teenager. I'm an excellent swimmer but I got caught in a weird outgoing set of waves in the ocean and it was dragging me away from shore. No matter how hard I swam I couldn't get back until a miraculous sideways wave out of nowhere pushed me free of the outgoing current and I was able to get back to shore. I had nightmares about it for many months after that. Edited May 18, 2017 by Dreambiscuit
cmarston1 5,962 May 23, 2017 Share May 23, 2017 I know Disney World is supposed to be the happiest place on earth and what have you, but back in Middle School when I went there and rode the Rock N Roller Coaster, I was absolutely miserable and freaking out. It went from 0 to 57 Miles Per Hour in 2.8 seconds and absolutely pitch black, and thus I was unbelievably terrified for the duration of the ride. I never want to experience something like that ever again.
GiFTGewEhrSCHutzen-4 8,833 May 26, 2017 Share May 26, 2017 This was like during my college days. I went to a Books/School Supply store, and there I decided steal a notebook, but alas, epic fail, got caught by security. From there I was so freaking scared. They said that they'll not tell this to my parents or even press charges as long as I pay for the notebook. In the end, I paid for the notebook and they let me go. From that day, that was a wake up call for me. Man, I was stupid back then. And as far as this story goes, I've never told anyone about it, except for my friends, which of course they kept it a secret for me. Steve Piranha 29,496 May 27, 2017 Share May 27, 2017 I was threatened to be beaten by a gang in one of my "joyful" visits to Bolivia. They've followed and harassed me, one of them had a baseball bat. If not where for calling my mom, who knows how would've that ended. I was 14 years or so. And all that because I was absent minded and passed in the middle of them. Retro*Derpy 3,260 November 3, 2017 Share November 3, 2017 I can think of two times. The first one was when I was learning how to fly a helicopter, and I got caught in a very strong side wind. It flung my door off and I was hanging on the side of the seat. I managed to hang on and shut the door, but the heli was very close to flipping over. Another time was 4 years ago at walmart during a black friday. I just got out of my car when several people started shooting at each other. I'd guess gang conflict. I dunked behind someone's car and heard a bullet hit the review mirror next to me. I stayed low and not much longer police/swat swarmed the parking lot and everyone split. It was really scary.

RavenholmZombie 1,330 November 29, 2017 Share November 29, 2017 I got mugged a few years ago with a knife held to my throat, luckily I was able to get away by macing the guy. Also, any time I get involved with the police, even if I've done nothing wrong, I always feel scared. I don't know why, but it's just something about the police that scares me. Keep in mind that I've never been arrested or charged with anything before in my entire life. 1 RavenholmZombie - Brony since 2011
Narcissus 356 December 3, 2017 Share December 3, 2017 I explored a (reputedly) haunted building once by myself (not a good idea). Nothing happened but I was really scared and I spent most of my time outside. Confronting my fears is one of my weird hobbies but it's not a smart or safe thing to do. Guest December 8, 2017 Share December 8, 2017 The thing that had me especially terrified was the time when a warning about a threatening situation came at school once. At first I thought the teacher was frustrated with us when she firmly told a classmate to shut the door as quickly as possible and make sure it's locked, but she was actually worried about the possible threat instead. When I heard her mention the warning, I felt the most intense feeling of fear I had ever felt. I was so convinced that we'd all die there that I texted my best friend to tell him that I love him. My friend next to me was almost in tears and the overall atmosphere in the class got so tense and anguishing. I was so relieved when the warning turned out to be false - I still wonder why the warning was given in the first place though.
Sketchy Tune 964 December 8, 2017 Share December 8, 2017 It was during the summer time. I was playing in the water and all or a sudden it got really cold. I walked out and I could barely move. I sat down on a rock near the lake and my sister handed me her sweater which was really nice, but it didn't help. It became more and more cold and couldn't move. My dad walked over to me and saw I was shaking. He helped me up to get me to a table, but my hearing and sight was slowly diminishing. I was scared and started to freak out. I thought I wasn't going to make it... My parents and other people (my church) helped me get into warm clothes and they rushed me to the hospital. Turns out I suffered from hypothermia...
