Depends on who at Disney gets it. Normal Disney, or Pixar I'm fine with, because they seem to be able to distinguish good stuff from bad stuff.

Dear GOD, I'd be MORE worried if Cartoon Network got a hold of it. There hasn't been anything GOOD on that channel since Fosters, Dexter's lab, and PPG. The Cartoon Network has gone down the toilet and honestly if they got a hold of MLP, MLP would go STRAIGHT down the toilet too. It would be all horrible animation, retards and fart/barf jokes. MLP does NOT need that. There's nothing but crap on CN right now. The only time it gets turned on at my house is Saturday mornings at 8:30 for Pokemon. And that's more out of a 15 year HABIT than anything.

Well, Toonami is coming back with anime every week, so they're STARTING to crawl out of hopelessville, but true, their reputation is in shandles and I wouldn't want them taking up MLP either.

 

True. Toonnami's revival is probably the best chance they have, though I'm kinda disappointed about how it returned...I mostly watched different shows than the anime that they show on there nowadays...but man, that was my favorite thing to do every Saturday night...

If they owned it then they would make it worse in my opinion, if the show is targeted towards little kids, then they would take out any adult humor and replace it with child humor and there would be a bit more G3 aspects because it's targeted towards little girls in the first place.

It'll change, just give it time. I feel like the anime thing is just how they're going to relaunch Toonami since it's easy to stuff anime in it. Once it's been back for a bit they'll probably transition new cartoon episodes there.

I think they'd made shittons of merchandise and advertise the hell out of it, but we'd probably see minimal changes to the show, if any at all. It's already perfect, and they would know that taking a look at how popular it is.

? I'm not entirely sure a companies' theme park can contain attractions, etc. that involve a brand that the park owner doesn't directly own.

 

For instance, there's a Shrek attraction or two in Universal Studios, Florida. Dreamworks owns Shrek.

 

But, Universal does not, and has never, owned or have been affiliated with Dreamworks in any other way.

Ya I just don't completely trust them what with the teen crap they've been gushing out lately, I mean if they're smart they'll keep it the same, but I just wouldn't trust them with it. I wouldn't feel comfortable knowing that disney has gained control over MLP:FIM is what I'm saying.

What you're saying doesn't make any sense. If Disney bought my little pony, then they would DIRECTLY OWN my little pony AND the theme park. And the stuff about Universal Studios doesn't really help with what you're saying, it just adds to the confusion.
