Answer The Love Question Above You!

Dont try pick up lines. They almost never really work in the long run. Like i said, be friends with someone. However, if you still feel like using a pick up line, then make a corny joke about something your object of affection likes without sounding condescending or @$$holeish; be sensitive and considerate when you try to crack jokes with them.

What are some if your best pick up lines?

The only ones I have are stupid and corny and sometimes make no sense. (Cause they come from my own brain.) Like for example: "Hey hot stuff, wanna ruffle my feathers? ;)"

What is your favorite thing to do with your partner?

That's a tough one... I'm 24 now and pretty much all my friends from High School are already married. If I find myself in a relationship again I'd like to be in a relationship for at least 2 years before considering marriage. So maybe for me at least 26-30 perhaps.

What's the best way nowadays to date? Or find others who are interested in dating? What would you say?

The old fashioned way. Hit the town and scout for pretty girls/men, strike up a conversation, have a few drinks, dance and see what happens.

Forget about Tinder and all that nonsense - it is a fad and it nine out of ten times leads to no where.

What kind of wedding would you like? (If you're getting married)

I guess I would like a pretty simple and traditional wedding, though probably with a couple of undecided differences.

Have you ever been in a complicated (or, at least, more complicated than usual) relationship? How did things turn out if so?

I was in a really complicated relationship that went like this: im friends with this one girl ever since middle school. We’re friends for a few years, go to the same school, became friendly rivals in karate, and even join the same theatre group. We end up dating for a while, then our parents say that according to our cultural tradition, since my dad and her mom are friends, me and my former girlfriend are technically cousins. So, now we kind of have an on again, off again relationship that’s more opportunistic than casual.

Same.

I was in kind of a complicated relationship once, although I don't exactly count it as a relationship because it really wasn't much of one. It was long distance, and kind of like an on again, off again best friends with benefits type of relationship. But then we both kinda starting arguing and then broke apart, and now we're talking again. But we are strictly just friends, and nothing more.

Same?

Oh god, we can literally speak of the story of my life here, but I'll just use my latest one as an example.

I had this relationship with another person, and we liked each other. It was long distance, which already proves a bit of difficulty for both people, but it was.. something else entirely. The distance started to become tedious, like, we would spend long stretches of time without talking but not because we didn't want to, it's just that out time zones matched that badly. I'm not speaking of a couple hours or so of difference, I'm speaking of at least half a day of difference. Eventually I broke up due to the fact that I just wasn't feeling happy at all on that situation, and honestly, it was just draining me at that rate.

For a positive twist though, what are your favourite things to do with your partner? :nom:

I don't have as much as "Time until next relationship" as much as it is "Time until I'm ready", it can be anywhere from a few days in a few months. It all comes down to situation, circumstances, who is who, who am I talking to, and a lot of things that are juts unpredictable :maud:

Same question?

Until whenever the time feels right. I don't put time tables on such things.

What would you have a hard time taking seriously in a potential love interest?

I've had one.

If you have a partner, do you both share the same literary interests? If you do not, would you want to?

Meh, I don't really get involved much wih literature. It's just not my thing. At all. :please: As for my boyfriend, I'm not sure. We've never really talked about it.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Or not?

I believe in love at first post. This one time, I was on a MLP site and there was a girl that made a post about Jimmie Johnson.:wub::wub: (this was sarcastic, I definitely took my time getting to know Lucky, maybe too much time)

Same?

(And as for literature. Reading is for eggheads.:P)

Yeah, it is possible the first one you fall in love with could the one for you. But you should still get to know the person first.

Eh... it's a stretch. :adorkable: That's not to say that quick hook-up are destined to fail... but I don't think you can quite articulate someone's character "at first sight;" I think it's better to get to know someone, and gradually get attached. Regardless, this isn't a criticism if you're relationship happened "at first sight," I just don't think it's the best way to approach things.

If you were given the choice between a partner who was either kind or smart, which would you pick?

Kind.

If your crush turns out to have a different sexual orientation than you thought (a straight guy turns out to be gay), would you still care for them?

That depends; does that mean that they wouldn't be able to love me (IE, a homosexual woman)? If they turned out to be bisexual, I wouldn't mind at all... but if they were gay, then it just couldn't work out due to lack of attraction. :adorkable:

Same question~?
