After being done with the groceries, I went to a Japanese eatery and ate some spicy flavored ramen noodles, and 2 grilled rice balls.

Bubble-and-squeak, which is, potato boiled with cabbage (or can instead use Brussels sprouts), then mashed and fried; served with a sausage, Cheddar cheese, some leftover raw onion and red pepper, pickled beetroot, and Piccalilli pickle and ketchup.

Nectar  Ambrosia of the gods . . . (oops no, nectar was the drink of the gods)

This was always a Boxing Day lunch when I was growing up (and even after - with cold turkey pieces etc.)
