The timeline was already out of order. A bunch of stuff happened (like Starlight getting redeemed) between the time the CMC got their marks and the time they first used them with Tender Taps. Somehow I don't think the CMC waited for months after getting them to have their first post-marks CMC meeting, thus the episodes aren't in order and in fact can even be out of order across seasons.

And sometimes, episodes originally (and unknowingly, to us) planned to appear in an earlier season can be moved to a later season, like Flutter Brutter, Secrets and Pies, Yakity Sax, and a few others, which will also lead to a more likely out of order timeline.

Yes that is correct. It was 1 day while the Storm king was still at large. Now it's 3 since he's no longer in charge.
