Every children's show is sexualized by people, so that doesn't bother me.

 

I think you're generalizing quite a bit because I've seen plenty of furries who are also Bronies, and from what I've seen, most Bronies don't have problems with furries. Granted, I have seen Bronies and furries arguing before, but I'm not going to place the blame solely on Bronies when I've seen some furries who have attacked Bronies before as well. I think it's just a case where some Bronies and some furries have a problem with each other, and there's really nothing you can do about that.

 

Furries aren't just in it for the sexual stuff though, right? Besides, just because some Bronies are cloppers or at the very least find ponies sexy doesn't make them furries. That's how I feel about it.

Really, the way I see it is if someone chooses to not be a part of fandom or to be associated with it, then they just aren't. No one can really tell them what they are or aren't just on traits shared with a certain fandom.

 

 

And just to stay on topic, I actually usually find anthro of the ponies less attractive/appealing than normal/feral art of them.

The biggest difference is what they call themselves, but I already posted that view in the other thread. There is also many definitions and scales of sexy -- I even posted a picture of a dripping red and black ice cream cone that was created with the autorial intent to invoke peripheral sexual arousal. Your view isn't any more wrong than our own smoking Dash up above you. Nor is anyone that says that they aren't sexy, or that cute isn't sexy. This is one of the most subjective topics in the history of subjective topics -- which is why I probably find it so facinating.

 

So we have people who find the show proper sexy and not, people who gravitate toward just the art (and again not), but what about cosplay? I rarely hear that mentioned, or is that too taboo for discussion?

Why do you think it's more uncommon for people to feel sexually attracted to different species, than their own? Why do you never see a bear having sex with a deer? Because the anatomical genitals do not allow for reproduction. Why is it that only humans feel a sexual attraction to animals, and are conscious of it, than animals feeling attracted to different animals?

 

Whether they want to see a horse vagina or a human vagina is a sexual preference.
