I actually don't. I was never really that kind of person to start rumors about other people. I find it kind of disrespectful towards the people it's about.

Yeah, a high priced place we ate at years ago on special occasions gave us awful service and treated my grandparents like they were soft in the head or something, so I started telling people I got food poisoning from them. I still heard about that, even 6 years after they shut down 

Ironically I met two people who really did get it though, so yeah :/

I have planted suggestions and let people draw their own wrong conclusions. There were some girls bullying a friend of mine and I made them appear to be something they were not. It felt good at the time because I'm a hot-head and I was mad at them. But looking back I feel bad about it because it made me no better than they were. I'm not that person anymore and bearing false witness to someone else is evil, no matter what I might have thought of them.

I don't like the idea of talking about people behind their backs, especially in the spreading of falsehoods. It's happened to me and it's not a good thing.

No. In high school a guy I dated started a rumor about me about what we did on our date. You can probably guess what story he spread. It was devastating. I would not do that to ANYONE!

Yes, to prevent people from constantly asking if I "fancied" anyone, I started a rumour that I was homosexual. The problem? It worked too well. Now I have a hard time convincing people that I'm straight, which is pretty hysterical.

Depends on the meaning of "rumour". If by rumour you mean anything, be it a lie or something true, then yes. If by rumour you mean just lies, nah.
