Nook Shopping allows the player to gift items to friends, but when I do, I don't see you in my friends list in-game; I'm not sure why...

You can send each other a gift once you meet up at the island depending on who's hosting and have each other on the friend list. They won't let you send a gift to a friend if you guys haven't played together yet. There may be a limit on sending gifts to your friend so if it's nook shop, I dunno if it's 2-5 items. I only sent a total of 3 items or so to my friends from nook shopping and a few through letters even though I was doing these gifts for nook miles.

I was looking for the shower set to complete my bathroom. I can just trade whatever bathroom stuff I have. Golden toilet, I can craft if you can bring me the materials which is 6 gold nuggets and I have the recipe for it.

I dunno if you guys need anything from me such as celeste's poster which is the only poster that I have and used celeste amiibo and pocket camp items although I only give these things away if you guys don't have celeste amiibo and haven't played animal crossing pocket camp for the download code although I can trade posters. I'm looking for rosie, and isabelle's poster if any of you guys have one or an extra. I wanted Chelsea's poster, but that's out of the question till later updates or whenever she's available. There's a lot on my wishlist at this time including the recipes and furnishings

Also is anyone else temped to play new leaf again? (i haven't played new leaf. New horizons is my first experience)

Nah, I couldn't go back to New Leaf. Sure, it is a solid game, but I love NH and how easy it is to decorate the town, decide where buildings and houses go, etc. Sadly, NH is missing a lot of furniture and some NPCs, but overall, I've enjoyed it a lot more than I ever did NL. Case and point, I've come very close to doubling the amount of hours I've played in NL total on NH in just a couple of months, and I'm still playing!

I got bored with NL a month after it was released. I just ran out of things to do, and that was it for that game. Meanwhile in NH, I have updates to look forward to, I have decorating of my town, I have a longterm goal with how I'm going to decorate the area leading up to my house. It's incentivizing me to play a lot better than NL.

Yes, the Switch's paid online is a rip-off. I actually am still running on a free subscription from an Amazon Prime/Twitch deal a while ago. I think it ends late this month. =(

Well these special visitors aren't that easy to come by these days although Here's a related article to them

NHs was a lot better than NL even though you can easily make money other than stalk market and do some relocating and replanting although the only downside part is that we can't get any special characters that we can get from amiibos like LoZ, splatoon, and sanrio based characters like in NL, but for sanrio characters like Chelsea which I mentioned before, they were obtainable In pocket camp during sanrio event.

I know that the island may be small, but it'll take some ideas to get a island layout you're trying to work on or what you have in your mind. I had a island layout in mind although it may not be easy to pull it off.

$20 a year is still cheaper than what Sony PlayStation is charging for their online services and I actually am enjoying the free NES and SNES titles

Darn all scorpions to Tartarus! I finally saw a scorpion to catch but it was right behind a building. So I couldn't tell if I was close enough to it or if it was in attack mode or defense mode until it was too late

The latest updates nerfed down the spawns on tarantula, scorpions, and atlas moths so it's not that easy to get them or come by. You may be lucky enough to find one from mystery island, but the quantity of them may be low so you wanna exercise caution when catching these guys from the mystery island.

And just because it's a rip-off to some people, it doesn't mean everyone has to agree it's a rip-off. Everyone has different opinions.

Big example, I enjoyed the Bunny Day event. All those "rip-off" eggs helped paid off my house loan.

607 bells per turnip is a rare price. I haven't seen anyone who hit that price before.
