movies/tv Who is the most annoying fictional character ever?

Oh stars, this will open a portal to another world of pain ...

We have to mention the crown prince of annoying characters, Scrappy-Doo. I will have to have a think of my own personal hated characters, though one off the top of my head is Twilight's Bella for her inability to 'choose' when it's super simple. You could put a lot of characters in that catagory, actually.

Rico Velasquez from the Killzone video game series. It's been a while since I've watched the play throughs, but in the first game he was a racist prick to the half Helghan Colonel Gregor Hakha even though he was was on his side. Later, rather than take the unarmed Helghan leader, Scolar Visari, prisoner, he kills him out of anger, turning him into a martyr and extending the conflict by several months I think, resulting in the deaths of thousands of his comrades, not to mention those of the enemy who needlessly died as well. Finally, he helps bring down a world ending weapon, only for it to make the world of Helghan become completely uninhabitable, and his reaction was celebratory while others realized they had accidently killed millions of civilians.

I'll add Fin as well from the latest Star Wars Trilogy. I've only seen "The Force Awakens" and though he had been serving under an evil imperial faction, at the death of his bestfriend and fellow storm trooper, he decides it's time to run away from that life and kills several other storm troopers in the process. He was captured at a very young age and raised alongside others in the exact same situation. What he did was the equivalent to watching your favorite sibling die, and instead of doubling down on the people who actually killed them, you shoot up the rest of your remaining siblings. That's madness!

I'll echo Bella Swan from Twilight, there's just a lot of really fucked up stuff from those books/movies that make me wonder what the fuck they were thinking lol

Can't forget Coconut Fred from Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island. Not only is he annoying, Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island is one of only two things Rob Paulsen leaves off his resume, the other being an animated pilot for a Bubsy the Bobcat cartoon.

But that includes the 50s, which are literally some of the most iconic pieces of western animation on earth...

I suppose we just have VERY different tastes.

Early Bugs Bunny is one of the most annoying bullies in media.

I'm not questioning its importance in animation or pop culture in general.

I haven't read or watched all the way through, I admit, but I never, NEVER understood how anyone thought Imprinting on the baby was fine. I get the idea behind being predestined for someone since birth, but like that!? HECK NOOOO

I understand where you're coming from with Bugs Bunny, some of the earlier shorts really do have him acting viciously rather than in self-defence and using his wits. We could really add Jerry from Tom and Jerry from this as well; a lot of shorts he is justified (Tom seems to be more of an asshole when trying to impress someone like his friends or the small kitten), but in some he goes out of his way to antagonise Tom. Puss gets the Boot is THE most cruel example, but there was also that beach short where Tom just wants to relax and impress the ladies.

Steven from Steven Universe a lot of the early episodes and seasons. His voice really GRATED and sometimes he was too ... 'full on'. He toned down quite a bit, which I liked, then he became so serious and troubled towards the end it went the opposite way :c

Meelo from Legend of Korra. Someone should have been fired for including him.

We talking book characters as well? Well, this one is from the Goosebumps series.

Because sweet mother of god I want to punch Tara from The Cuckoo Clock of Doom in the face. She's a bitch. She opens her brother's birthday presents before he can, scratches up his brand new birthday bike, embarrasses him in front of his crush by tripping him and making him fall face-first into his cake. I also believe at some point she also took a ball away from the scariest people at her brother's school and hid it in her brother's backpack, and he got beat up the next day.

This bitch deserves to go to HELL! Like, he did nothing to her at all. At ALL. She's 8 years old and is doing all this and never gets in trouble? Her parents actually think it's cute? WTF?!

But she got what she deserved at the end of the book, so all's well that ends well.:toldya:

Prototype Bugs was absolutely a bully. But by the time shorts like Wabbit Fire came along, he had turned into a bully punisher.

Thank God, I never saw Fred Figglehorn in his Movies nor his Nickelodeon show. The only footage I saw of him is secondhand such as WatchMojo's list of worst Nickelodeon shows.

To be honest most annoying characters that make it into this topic don't bother me. You have to be a special kind of annoying in order to actually get me to actually hate them

I remember how mean Bugs was in Elmer's Candid Camera. Chuck Jones himself said that this cartoon was a perfect example of how NOT to make a funny cartoon

Exactly. Bugs WAS a jerk in his original incarnation, but by the time the 50s rolled around, almost all his opponents absolutely had it coming.

Funny I’m watching the series on Netflix. Never gotten past book 1 before that :sealed:. But I agree, he’s the embodiment of why I don’t want children :eww:

Another character I hate because such thing has been building with time is Zeno-Adams, from Dragon Ball Super. I don’t mind Akita trolling us in showing his all mighty god is a toddler, but I cannot stand him since The Tournament of Power saga. Too many copy paste and pointless scenes with the two of them (yes, two Zeno Samas, excited over anything, and EVERY SINGLE EPISODE :Cozy:)

This is my least favorite character in Fire Emblem ever: Camilla :eww:. The reason she has fans is because she’s only there for the fan service, and whatever excuse of a character is complementary . In fact, most characters in Fates rub me the wrong way in one way or another, but she’s the worst of all, followed closely by generic super saiyan 3 bushido guy :eww:

Do not open unless you seen book 4:

Spoiler

Even though it's been 3 years since the end of Book 3, Meelo did not mature like his sisters

I have one I still hate to this very day: Momo Hinamori from Bleach.  She is like the most useless character that was on bleach!  And it took like 3/4's of the freaking anime just to get her to to do something of anything that was not AIZEN-SAMA!

Jinora is too perfect for our sinful world. I'm guessing someone had to be the funny kid in a world of gloom and doom, but why him? BUMI was funnier, and he was triple the age. Actually, Bumi got super annoying at times as well, but he got even by talking about his feels for his father and by proving his twitchy younger brother wrong by being an airbender. I kind-of wish he was never made an airbender, it seems like it just fixes one of his central conflicts

I found Zephyr himself so irritating because I badly wanted someone to simply tell him that he was being malicious in disregarding his parent's feelings. The cloud collection scene in particular, I would have flipped my lid; I KNOW what collections mean to people, I'm a collector myself! Plus it was just baffling why Rainbow Dash or anyone else didn't simply tell  him that she wasn't interested. I know it's supposed to be for comedy, but I'm very much of the mindset that children shouldn't be taught it's okay to let things like that slide, because people will do it as an adult too. Especially wink-nudge 'jokes' when I tell them point blank 'I'm not interested' or 'that isn't funny'. Don't make people uncomfortable to ask that they entertain you because they don't want to be rude and you're getting a selfish kick for your ego.

The only thing that really stops me naming Zephyr is the fact that he was HILARIOUSLY CAMP when trying to impress Rainbow in his guard uniform and when he gets so full of himself he is just a massive ham.

I think Rainbow should have given him a sharp hoof to the nose and sent him packing. His campy nature did nothing to make me stop HATING the character.

While I will agree that one part of the episode I didn't like is Zephyr Breeze ruining his parents collection and the episode would have been perfect without it, I've seen characters far more annoying than him.
