I used to watch it when I was a child in 90s. So a long time ago. I don't remember too much anymore, but I really like it.

I hated the movie, so there was never any real interest in watching the animated series. I don’t think I’ve ever seen even a single episode of it.

I’m just a tad curious about it though. Maybe I’ll give it a try sometime.

Cool.  I've seen some people stating they saw the cartoon first and preferred it to the movie if that helps.
