general How worried about the election are you?

To be honest I've been a massive ball of anxiety about the election. I don't really care for either candidate, it's one of those "Lesser of two evils" situations again...

Though I do have a strong dislike for one of the candidates in particular but that's a whole lot to get into, haha.

But I really hope the guy who isn't going to take away the rights of the people I love and myself ends up winning. It's looking good at the moment, but poll numbers aren't reliable...so...

Gay marriage, women's rights, and healthcare are all up for complete destruction right now and my heart aches for it, genuinely. :sunny:

This may makes me sound like a arrogant guy but I’m not worry at the slightest. Whoever wins, my life will just the same as the next year and so forth till I grow old and die.

Extremely worried, I have a weird feeling in my stomach from the anxiety. To me, Trump has to lose. If he wins, I will have no hope left. Violence is very likely to happen on Tuesday regardless of the outcome but I do know that if Trump loses, he will make sure that division and hatred will skyrocket. Well, he's gonna do that if he wins or loses, so either way, Trump is a beacon of division and hatred. Tuesday is going to suck, hard. The concept of common friggin' decency is at stake, let alone everything else.

If Trump wins, then back on the nihilism train I go, choo choo. I'd prefer a real train hitting me at that point.

Somewhat worried. I won't express any specific political beliefs here so I can avoid getting dragged into the mayhem (it's only a matter of time before this thread descends into chaos and bitterness, as is custom. I'll give it another hour until someone starts a fight and gets this thread locked), but whoever wins, there's probably going to be quite a bit of change in the US over the next four years. Whether that change will be good or bad, only time will tell.

If you're voting: please, don't vote for a candidate simply because you hate the other. Vote for who you think is the best choice. Look at their beliefs and what they've said from multiple news sources. News outlets are all biased, they all twist words, and they're all dishonest. Don't rely just on CNN or Fox or NPR to get your information. And for goodness' sake, don't go to social media for political advice. Things like Twitter are worse for gathering unbiased information than any news outlet.

To be honest I'm a bit worried about it. I don't see it as NECESSARILY life-or-death though. I know a few bad things will likely unfold REGARDLESS of who gets elected. Including gay marriage likely becoming illegal in around 35 states, Texas included. That has to do with Amy Coney Barrett making the Supreme Court a Republican SUPERMAJORITY. Also several other important things will become unlikely to happen.

But Biden at least acknowledges climate change for the fact it is and seems to have a way better plan for dealing with the pandemic. Even if I kind of hate his brand of corporate centrism.

I am quite worried. A lot of my well-being is riding on Trump and the Republican Senators losing soundly. I sincerely don't know what I'm going to do if this goes sour. I can say I have the utmost confidence that Biden will win in a fair election. I just know that it's not a fair election, I just hope that the Republican's crooked tactics aren't enough.

I'll say this before the thread gets locked; The Trump admin. is the total opposite of unity and accepting people.

I think Biden will win, so I'm a little less worried. Trump won because of a perfect storm of the Comey emails, running against an unpopular candidate, nonvoters, and cheating.

Biden is MUCH more popular than Hilary, we're seeing record early voter turnout, and Trump's attempt at manufacturing a scandal in Hunter Biden failed miserably. So, that just leaves cheating.

Trump's a frickin' fascist. He intentionally sows division and conspiracy theories and always blames "the other."

All I want is for the COVID-19 pandemic to get better and that Disneyland would be able to reopen again. Whoever wins the election really needs to think of the health and safety of all the people of the world.

Plus, I really wish that in a few years, Disney will rehire me to work at the Disneyland Resort and I'm willing to go through all the paperwork and orientation to truly be able to finally do my job as a potential cast member and bring joy and happiness to others. Especially after these troubling COVID-19 times.

yeah, I'm pro-republican, but I'm anti-trump (cause of overall me not liking him personally), and I have to say, American politics is way better than here,
like yeah, America really needs to try and get back to respecting eachother, or biting their toungue at least

I look at the state of my country and desparately beg americans to avoid the left,
Like my country is done, there's nothing left, the government is all in for it's self, and I get so emotional when Americans that don't know better try to vote in the left,
Like I'm actually tearing up writing this
Whenever I see americans voting the left in I get just so sad and worried for America,
After all, aint it the land of the free? the land where you wont get in prison for jokes or opinions?
I might be biased cause of the horrendous state of my nation, but I don't want you to follow the homeland's footsteps

This simply will not happen if we continue under Trump's grasp. He's essentially resorted to acting like COVID no longer exists and insulting doctors who are having to deal with it every day. It will only get worse with him in charge for another 4 years. Trump is entirely anti-science.

The US is already a total dumpster fire and I don't think "the left" is the main reason.

Come visit Scotland, you'll learn America is not as bad as you think,
There's improvements that could be made, sure, but America is in a great situation politically compared to many other countries

I am pretty concerned about the election. Part of me thinks we are not gonna be in a good place a year from now, and there will be some batshit crazy things occurring the next 48 hours. Things are gonna be much tougher than it already is with the pandemic (for the current time being until a vaccine arrives). I do hope sane heads prevail. Regardless of who wins, the divisiveness in this country has gone on for too long, and it needs to stop.

While there is a candidate I would rather see win, if he doesn't, well, it's not like I can do anything about it.

There's probably going to be some fighting no matter who wins, at least I am ~10000km away and I am quite sure that even if there is fighting, it won't involve ICBMs.
