Please don't try them

Some previous internet challenges that have exploded in recent years:

- "Ice bucket challenge" : Poor freezing water on yourself

- "Tide-pod challenge" : Eat a laundry tide-pod

- "Mail yourself challenge" : Mail yourself in a large box to your address

- "Coronavirus challenge" : Lick a public bathroom toilet seat

- "Cinnamon challenge" : Eat a spoonful of ground cinnamon and don't drink water for 60 seconds

- Others much worse than these

Nope, I'm not an idiot

My girlfriend at the time dared me to do the cinnamon challenge when that was a thing a long time ago, so I did.  That was the first and last time I ever did an internet challenge.  Not worth it.

The ice bucket challenge kind-of had a normal reason. The others, well, I guess they were an attempt to increase the average IQ of the world. I wonder when there will be "drink antifreeze challenge" or "eat rat poison challenge".

No, I have not participated in any of them, I have better things to do than show to the world how stupid I am - people may believe that I am stupid - but why give them the proof.

OTOH, dumping a bucket of cold (room temperature, or cold tap temperature) water on my head after sauna is kind-of nice.

Can someone explain to me why someone would willingly lick a toilet seat without getting paid a huge pile of money?

Nah I’ve never tried one. But I liked watching the “MLPForums pie to the face challenge” that used to be done :P

Several internet challenges are created to raise awareness for a cause (like the ice bucket challenge and ALS) which I think are a bit of a different thing than the stupid ones people do for no reason other than to get attention.

I tried the Nutella challenge way back in middle school, where you have to eat an entire jar of Nutella in an hour without drinking anything (it actually might be half an hour, I don't remember). I don't think I even managed to get halfway.

Lol.  Some of those are very funny.  I love the mail yourself challenge.  That's hilarious.

Ironically, probably the least likely way you're gonna get covid, unless someone recently sneezed on the seat.

But no, I haven't done any internet challenge.  What do I look like, an idiot?

Haha I mean at least the ice bucket challenge was for charity. And the cinnamon challenge is blegh but not so bad compared to some of these oof like who in the right mind licks a toilet seat or eats a tide pod. I remember the lick ice cream challenge too yuck. But yea i never done any I seen someone i know do the ice one and the cinnamon i know of a youtuber i use to talk to did it.

No, I've never had any inclination to do any of those past internet challenges, and I don't have any inclination to do any future ones either! ^_^

Nah, I'm not brave enough to do any of those. If it counts for anything, I did shove a pie into my face on video for MCM.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Does the Polar Bear Challenge count? (Not that I did it!) My husband tried to talk me into doing it with him last winter. I flipped out! I actually said "Do you even know me?" I HATE going into water even on nice warm summer days! I haven't been to a beach or pool since I was like ten! He went and did it, and I watched, safely on dry land!

There are people in my country who, in winter, go cut a hole in the ice and jump in the water. This is supposed to be good for health, if I translated their name into English, it would probably be "healthies".

The mere thought horrifies me!

There was also the saltine cracker thing. But no, I’m afraid I’m too wise to be doing that sort of tomfoolery. I can laugh about it though.

No but I watch people do them if they don’t look life-threatening. My cousin did some sort of “eraser challenge” once though and I was mad that he did it (basically you have to use an eraser on your hand until it bleeds).
