Twilicorn all over again  

 

It appears Sunny and other characters in Gen 5 dress up as other pony races so this may not be a "real" alicorn form for Sunny.

And... I really don't know what to think. We don't even know anything about this or what it means.

I SUPPOSE it would fit her doing a tremendous deed with restoring the magic and bringing the ponies back.

This could be anything at this point.

Those wings look stuck on with glue or something so I think it's either something temporary with magic or a very realistic costume. She probably idolises the alicorns with Twilight and all that.

I agree. Magical Mystery Cure was rushed and I get why people were concerned about Twilight's ascension ruining the show but they actually handled it quite well. MCC was followed by Season 4 which was far better than S3. 

The show explored the implications of Twilight's acension and gave her a role that made sense.

I like to see seasons 1-3 as the prolog and the story realy start with season 4.

I actually prefer the show before she became an alicorn. Twilight as a character was more relatable and interesting to me back then, and as a whole the show felt more fun and charming.

If I remember correctly Sunny's voice actor wore a unicorn horn and wings in that cast teaser trailer. Might be coincidental or not but if it is on purpose then I'll have to tip my hat to them for such a sly hint.

This was my thought. Sunny seems extremely fascinated by Alicorns, unicorns, and pegasus ponies.

In the annual there is the pic of her of when she was younger dressed with clearly stuck on butterfly like wings.

And it says something along the lines of she wishes one day she could make some unicorn and pegasus friends.
