With the race going on, Dynamo stayed atop the stage. All the while, getting the play by play of the race from Starlight's commentating. With the roar of the crowd, the gaming unicorn was happy to know that the race was going by without a hitch. He thought he heard the commentary of things going awry, as well as thinking he heard the voice of Discord at one moment during the commentary. However, he tried to pay it no mind as he hoped that everyone was doing okay. He would periodically check at the other side of the finish line. Wondering if someone would pop up over the horizon in their pursuit of the goal. 'Whatever is going on, I just hope that everyone is okay and is staying safe.' Dynamo thought to himself, while hoping that everyone was having fun. Just as he stood in wait, the gaming unicorn gasped as he saw someone appearing from over the hill. "Titanium! It even looks like Anarchylight is trying to catch up and gain the lead!" Dynamo announced, getting the checkered flag ready to wave at the moment someone crossed the finish line.

He waited with baited breath as with each step, the racers were making it closer and closer towards the finish. "Fillies and Gentlecolts! It's going to be close! Potentially a photo finish!" Dynamo commentated, keeping his eyes on the racers and the finish line to make sure his judgement was fair. "This is it! You're winner is...Titanium!!!! Followed by Anarchylight in second place!" Dynamo exclaimed, waving the flag as Titanium, followed by Anarchylight, had both crossed the finish line. Just as he made his judgement on the winner, he gasped as Titanium had suddenly collapsed after crossing the finish line. "Titanium! Are you okay? What's wrong? What happened!?" Dynamo exclaimed, jumping off of the stage as he made his way over towards the two racers.

OOC: With our two racers reaching the goal of 500, we have arrived at the completion of the race! Everyone that hasn't had a chance to roll, please do so. After which, you can have your character crossing the finish line for us to announce the winners of the race!

*Shiny Silvermoon and Harry the bear could hear the cheerings of the crowd awaiting for the participants who didn't cross the finish line yet. The mare could feel herself slowing down, due to the exhaustion that was finally kicking in, after so many leaps. However, her furry friend didn't leave her behind and encouraged her to keep leaping. After what seemed like forever to Shiny, they finally made it to the finish line.*

"Phew! That was intense! However, I have a feeling that it might not be completely over yet..."

 

Steps : 3 + 75 % (permanent bonus from calming Harry the bear who was the secret animal) = 5

Silver rounded a corner and could finally see the finish line. The sight gives him a bit of a boost in energy for the final push. He stumbles for a bit on a rock but manages to stay upright until he passes by @Dynamo Pad holding the checkered flag.

I did it! I finished the race! He thought to himself, coming to a stop and collapsing on the ground. He wasn't concerned about what place he got, he was just happy to finish the race. It would take him a few minutes to catch his breath and regain his strength, before slowly getting to his hooves again.

Moonlight is panting when he reaches the finish line. He approaches Titanium and sits on the ground. "Phew. You did amazing, Titanium. Congrats!" He wants to hug her, but she's lying on the ground, so he just pats her shoulder. "But next year, I won't go easy on you."

Felis stated as she ran. She looked energetic and not tired at all.

"You cheeky little..." Titanium chuckles, eyes squinting from the sun above. She sits up and playfully pushes Moonlight over "Next year, I expect you do at least keep up with me! I didn't even train!" She starts laughing, starting out slow but quickly building into a genuine laughing fit. Wiping tears of laughter from her eyes, she catches her breath and calms herself down. "So... Do you think the gold medal is real gold?"

Dynamo was growing worried as he took notice of the swirls in Titanium’s eyes. From the commentary of Starlught and what he had heard on each event. It sounded as if everyone went the extra mile, as well as were looking exhausted. Hearing that she’d be okay, the gaming unicorn breathed a sigh of relief. “I’m just glad that you and everyone are okay. You said water, right? Not a problem as we got pl ru of water to go around.” Dynamo says, heading over to a nearby table that was covered with multiple cups.

Levitating some in his magic, he brought one over as he placed it next to Titanium. “Here you go, Titanium. I hope this helps and there’s plenty of water to go around.” Dynamo smiles as he took notice of more racers crossing the finish line.

As he looked behind him, he saw Shiny, Silver Slate, Saturn, Roswell, Moonlight and Felis had reached the finish line. “Hey! Shiny, Silver, Saturn, Roswell, Moonlight, Felis! You guys made it! I…wait…is that Harry?” Dynamo stopped suddenly with a tilt of his head. “How did Harry end up crossing the finish line? I thought he was back at the animal sanctuary with Fluttershy.” Dynamo couldn’t make heads or tails of the matter, but he knew it was better to not question as he was glad that everyone was safe. “At the very least, there’s plenty of more water to go around. Take a breather, drink up, and relax. You all did amazing!” He smiled, handing out water to the other racers.

“You can say that again. I heard the commentary that Starlight and Trixie were giving and it sounded like a lot was happening. I don’t exactly understand how some of those things could have happened, though.” Dynamo says, before giving Shiny a nod. “You’ve got that right. We still have to hand out medals and awards to everyone. We just need to wait for the others to cross the finish line.”

As Moonlight’s words were uttered, Dynamo quickly turned to him with a gasp. “How did you know about that, Moonlight? I mean, to be fair. We do have actual medals and all, but the chocolate medals were supposed to be a secret. I do remember asking Pinkie if she could create chocolate medals and she even said it wasn’t a problem. There was a mention of rock candy necklaces she had made for her sister and that chocolate medals would be a piece of cake.” He chuckled with a smile as he recalled the conversation with the pink party made.

Titanium gladly downs the cup of water in seconds, "I know you shouldn't drink water too fast, but I really needed that." The mare sighed, enjoying the cool beverage. "Thanks @Dynamo Pad, you're a life-saver." She chuckles, rising to collect another cup of water from the table.

"Yeah! That's Harry! He's my new friend! He said that he wanted to participate to the race too! Normally, he wouldn't do such physical efforts before Winter! After all, he needs to stack as much fat in his body as he can to be able to hibernate the whole season, without feeling hungry, and racing is the best way to burn fat! However, he decided to make an exception for this time, since the Running of the Leaves was almost over!" *Shiny explained to @Dynamo Pad and Harry nodded in agreement.*

i'm just gonna say Lucky comes in last. this has gone on for too long for my attention span. i've slowed down immensely on posting, i've gotten burnt out on the race. thank you, Dynamo, for hosting <3 i guess i'm just not the person for dice roll type things that last for a decent amount of time.

"I don't blame you as I'd be in the same boat if I was really in need of a drink of water." Dynamo smiled sheepishly as he could understand that everyone must be exhausted after the race. Hearing @Wizard Titanium's thanks, the gaming unicorn nodded with a kind smile. "You're welcome and it's no problem, Titanium. That's what friends are for." As he turned to @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny, Dynamo gave a nod in understanding upon hearing her explanation. "Thankfully the rest of the race was a final sprint to the finish line. So, Harry got to keep the stack to be set for the winter. I guess this race could be a sort of final hurrah for him and the other animals, before hibernation takes place. I hope that he got to have fun as it sounded like there was a lot of fun to be had." Dynamo smiled, before taking note of @Silverspark184 Silverspark, Brightspark and @Lucky Fire Lucky Fire had made their way across the finish line. "Silver! Brightspark! Princess Lucky Fire! You all made it and congratulations!" Dynamo cheered, levitating cups of water to the three of them. "Please have some water, relax and rest as you all did an amazing job. As soon as everyone else has crossed the finish line, awards shall be announced and presented."
