do you ponify your speech?

does anyone else here like to ponify their speech when talking to people online? like instead of saying "hands" you say "hooves" and such? this can also probably apply to furries who like to refer to their hands as paws n the such.

personally i really like to basically just be my sona online by referring to irl stuff like hands as things my sona has like hooves or magic, so i do this quite alot, i have been doing this since i was young with non pony sonas x3. i dread the day i accidentally say "my hooves" to someone irl though... XD

yup, and I say it so much that I have got all my friends and family to say "hoof" and "foal"  they're not even bronies but now they say that to their friends. And then they say it to their friends, and those friends say it to more and soon everyone will be bronies >:3 muahaha

I do on this website occasionally, or sometimes as a little joke to my friends, but not usually outside it and not irl. I kinda do like when others use it irl to me though, since it feels like a little secret signal between us, haha.

No, I do not see a reason to. Especially when talking with/about humans, saying "hooves" instead of "hands" or saying "everypony" seems stupid to me.

I used to do that back when I first started commenting over at Equestria Daily, but then I quickly realized just how silly it was and stopped doing it. That would've been back around 2016/2017 so I've come a long way since then. Of course, I never ponified my speech out in public especially given my age.

Only in the context of a pony's perspective, such as a hypothetical from a characters point of view, or during a Roleplay, though I haven't done the latter in years outside of the world cup.

oh my god that last bit sounds so cool. ive never actually encountered someone else just randomly using ponified language like that, but it does sound like a fun way to signal youre from the fandom haha
