What do you look for in a Girl/Boy Friend <3

The main thing that is important to me is if I have a good time when I am with that person no matter what we do. I would like the person I go out with to essentially be like a best friend. 

 

Other than that I look for a girl who:

 

Is intelligent/witty/sarcastic

Can at least tolerate MLP

Has nice eyes

Has an adorable laugh

Has most of the same interests as myself

Likes to cuddle

 

Oh, and any girl who can sing/play an instrument is a definite plus.

I don't care much for a girl's looks. You don't have to be drop dead gorgeous or have a ridiculous bust to appeal to me. Just a normal amount of effort (akin to not looking like you just got up out of bed/haven't shaved in weeks for a guy) to look acceptable will do. What's most important to me is that a girl is intelligent. I should be able to talk about more advanced topics and such with a girl, and not have to oversimplify things when I speak of my day at work, for example. Your body isn't in top form for nearly as long as your mind, so a girl with a strong mind that I enjoy talking to is my top priority.

I think everyone should try to find a good person that you are happy with, however, everyone does not get along with everyone. I would say my perfect girl would be kind, love music, and accepts me for who i am. Being shy would be a bonus but it wouldn't deduct points either. I also cant stand way to proper women, i need someone more free spirited. I also think glasses are a plus, so is good natural color hair. I personally don't like short hair. A nice body would definitely be a plus.

Doesn't help that you're in that part of school life where people are starting to care about social interactivity and acceptability. (Assuming the age on your profile is accurate)

 

Keep at it. Don't feel like you should ever have to change yourself for anyone, that'll only make you miserable. Remember: You're not out to please anyone so if they don't like what you have to offer then maybe you aren't the right person for them and vice versa. (This goes for both platonic and romantic relationships.)

 

Despite what some might want you to believe, not everyone is compatible with everyone else. It's possible to get along with people without being OMGUBERFRIENDS, we all do it here on MLPForums and all over the internet every day, but not everyone will be your friend.

 

To this day I'm probably one of the least talked to members on this forum even when I do get extremely active and I'm almost certain it's because of my harsh way of talking at times and my crazy way of seeing things at times.

looks are nice, but i mainly look for morals and personality. i'd like a girl who's a mix of pinkie and fluttershy. fun to be around, but can also be more calm when necessary. don't need parties every day. sleep is good. i guess having some twilight smartness wouldn't hurt, but being social would also be nice. that's all i can really think of right now. honestly, i've never been in a relationship, so i don't really know much about this stuff.   it's...okay...i guess...but i would rather not be in this situation.

 

EDIT: oh yeah, duh, it would also be really nice if either they were a pegasister or at least tolerated me being a brony. also somewhat applicable to whovian stuff.

Someone who's able to keep up with me physically, and mentally through conversation and such. I also look for someone from a large family, because my family is large and we like to play very rough(anyone from a large family will get this.) Honesty is a huge thing for me now, especially since I had a bad experience this summer with that. Being a brony/pegasister doesn't really matter to me, because I'm going to watch MLP regardless. As for physical characteristics, I don't really care. However, I do find flatter chested women to be very attractive.

Personality wise, I would say someone who's an extravert would work out pretty well with me. The girl would have to live in the moment, because I certainly do. I guess that's about it.

I will not give up who I am for anyone. This streches from my love of gaming to the way I do my hair.
-Be outgoing (you know the relationship between flutters and dash? I need a dash in mine.)
-Have a good sense of humor, and a bit of extra optimism wouldn't hurt.
-Doesn't go out of her way to get attention, may it be trying to be something she isn't, makeup/style overdose, etc etc etc...

Uh... well this is a tough one.

 

To be fair, I think I am more than fine with someone who understands me and supports me (within normal, healthy levels that is), and wouldn't try to change me or mould me to fit his/her way of life. 

 

If I had to list a few things I would go for the following:

 

*Likes to snuggle and cuddle together for sleep (innocently, that is).

 

*Optimistic, though not too idealistic. I honestly can't stand people who go "everything's gonna be alright" when the ship's sinking, and do nothing about it.

 

*A good, yet measured sense of humour. I love laughing around and all, but having someone laughing at everything and everyone is annoying. And it seems many people are like that these days... Either that, or unable to smile.

 

*A passion for history. Bonus points if she/he agrees to join up reenacting. What can I say, I love those 19th century uniforms.

 

*Old fashioned, but not hipster. 

 

*Brony/pegasis if possible, though by no means mandatory.

 

*Bonus points for gamer, even more if attracted to historical games.
