gaming Disturbing Video Game Bosses

Hey guys!

Im sure we all have some certain boss in mind when i say, disturbing bosses.

One of the good examples would be the Spider Queen [Prostitute spider] from Okami.
It's a gigantic spider with a deformed human head, and at the tip of every leg there are huge human like hands. Im sure it creeped out a lot of players.

But the boss that got me the most freaked out, got to be Mad Jack from Donkey Kong 64.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great game but that boss is horrifying.
Why you might ask? Well first of its a damn clown with Donald the Duck nosies. Second it's chasing you and you have to jump to different platforms in order not to get squashed by him. And in the end he goes invisible and the only thing you can see from him is sparkles when he moves.
[ A side note, i was 5 when i played this game]

So is there any boss you find somewhat disturbing?

Giygas, from the Mother series, namely EarthBound. While I personally find him to be more awesome than disturbing he's proven to a lot of people that he is quite horrible. He is the embodiment of evil and has no real physical mass when he attacks, Ness and his party cannot even comprehend his attacks, it is as if they are ethereal, yet do tons of damage.

Giygas is clearly the most famous boss when it comes to this subject.

And i can't complain about it, in his last form you can clearly see a fetus. He shapes into a fetus, well a part of him.

The last boss from Kirby 64: Crystal shards is pretty weird.

Especially when he acts like a damn fish.

Though not disturbing to me, (usually vg stuff doesn't disturb me) there's no denying that Pseudo-Palutena in the penultimate level of Kid Icarus: Uprising is darn ugly.

In Fallout 3, we have the ever-charming Super Mutant Behemoths. The aura of this game was already freaking me out, and the used aspect was just scaring me more and more. Then, this sucker comes out of nowhere and starts wailing on my dog. I want catatonic for a second, and had to reload to save Dogmeat.

Agreed to this. Fallout 3 almost need to be classified as a horror game in my opinion.

I don't think the mirelurks were bosses, but they WERE creepy. Mostly because you can't really headshot them and they had TONS of life, so you just sat there pouring ammunition into them and THEY WOULD NOT DIE.

Spiders in Skyrim. I have arachnophobia and almost died when one fell right on my character *shudders*

The Fury bossfight in MGS3:Snake Eater was also creepy as fuck.

Probably Puppet Master, from Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

 

 

btw, this guy didn't let it happen, but you see when Puppet Master conjures dolls in his hands? If you don't destroy it before he puts it in the Iron Maiden, it switches places with you and you take massive damage. But this guy is easy if you spam certain souls.
