MLP Mane 6 Chibi - Criticizm wanted

So I drew these chibis of the mane 6.

Fluttershy could be cuter, Rainbow Dash should be 20% cooler, and Rarity is not as fabulous as I wanted her to be. Oh well. Criticism welcome.

But seriously, I love the way you drew them as chibis. However, I suggest that Rainbow should have long hair, like she does in the show (not LONG LONG hair, but you know what I mean). Applejack looks so cute, and so do the rest!

Isn't Rarity's hair a deeper shade of violet? It's like, dark Purple... And yeah, Fluttershy needs to be cuter...

the hair is purple, but i only had violet, not dark purple. and the dress is her gala dress, i didn't really know what to put her in...nothing was fabulous enough. i took the picture with my iPod touch, and it has a horrible camera. irl, twilight's hair looks more pinkish-blue, and fluttershy is cuter (though still not cute enough), same with rarity's hair, it's more purple. The only things I could criticize are that the bodies aren't small enough for it to be true chibi and some of the colors are a bit off. The faces though, and the designs, are spot-on.

 

Now I think I wanna do some chibi artwork.

Yeah, you got basically everything nailed down here. Though for a second there I mixed up Pinkie with Rarity to be honest, just a bit more and it'd be perfect.

When I saw the title I thought "oooh, chibi ponies!" Then disappoint.

 

There's really nothing wrong with the figures; they're chibi's. They're supposed to be misshapen. Just practice and try to make them your own style instead of the usual model of chibi and you'll do fine.

 

On another note, don't in particular like your background. Too flat and plain. Next time try giving a little detail to it like some trees, bushes, additional clouds, and try not to make the land look too flat.

 

Oh, and it appears Twilight Sparkles is floating. Try to keep her a tad more grounded next time to make the picture appear less awkward to look at.

Whatever you do to improve on your artistic qualities is fully up to you, even if music is your preferred medium. As for 'floaty Twilight', what I meant by that is that twilight appears to be on one leg and slightly leaning over to her right, or the images left. It gives of the appearance that she is very floaty, not that she is actually floating.
