Being a brony has most defiantly chaned my life or rather a couple of the things I do in it.

Since I have become a brony I am much more open to things than I was before, I mean Iv always been an open person but, Im evermore so know that I use to be. The fandom has gotten me into a lot of things I would have other wise not have been into as well, it has even put a large enough influence on me to decide what type of job field ld like to get into.

Im actually starting to take classes on animation, graphic design and, digital art. Its really all thanks to it showing up so vibrantly within the fandom. I am inspired by what so many talented people can do.

It has actually. Before I ever liked My Little Pony, I was an antibrony. Me and my friends would sit down and call it names like gay and stupid. Now, me and my friends love it. We're now addicted to the show. The reason this effected my life is because pretty much all I do is pony stuff. Pony videos, pony forums, pony pictures!

Not directly no, when I started watching the show it is because I had friends into it and I was bored in the afternoons. I never really obsessed over it and it was never much more than one of my many interests. Granted I have met people through the fandom who have become great friends and inspirations so in a way it has at least affected me in some ways.

Well i used to be a gamer, i played 8 hours per day i always feel lazy, lost, and shy, when i began to see MLP i found videogames... useless

Instead i began to draw and doing designs, my confidence was rising, my life has twisted into MLP

i began to tolerate everyone different to me and ponies fullfill the gaps of my life and finally found my place in the world.

WE ARE POWERFUL, WE ARE SPECIAL, WE ARE BRONIES!!

Being a brony has in fact changed my life. I used to always sit around, be bored, and normally be just confused as to what to do... But a couple of freinds of mine said, "Watch this show, don't ask questions..." Naturally I did ask questions but never got a response to them >.<. Anyway after being initially introduced to the show I just always was happy! Anyway, that was my shpheal about this topic... ^.^ MLP:FiM FTW

Well, my life hasnt changed much at all because I hold off from telling anyone I know. And with good reason. Most of them have a personal grudge against that sort of stuff. So if I reveal I'm a brony, I'm fucked.

Not much, but it did. I have bigger contact list on skype (totally not because of this forum!  ) and met some really cool people here. Watching this show was one of most optimistic things I did and sometimes helped me overcome my bad mood (or fear after playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent XD ). Also- it's not a big thing, but now I'm using english much more often to communicate with other bronies. So I suppose my english will improve as well :)

My life has changed in two ways ever since I became a Brony.

1.I now give ever thing a chance now, I use to judge everything by the cover

2.I never really get that angry, I use to be angry all the time(I really don't know why)

Well, i want to share something with you ponys...

i always loved creepypastas, horror and gore stories, the spicy thing you can see on the internet to scare yourself, the other day i begin to write my first fanfic of gore... but later, i feel sick to write this, and today, i watched and horror film and i just couldn't take it. Now i see that everything that liked me on that genre, it scares me now.

At the same time i began to feel more conected to my emotions, my happiness was increased, and i become more sentimental since i started to see MLP, i cried loudly and laugh so hard, i express my feelings more often than before with anything on my life

Have you experience the same thing too?

At times yes.

Before I saw it, I was generally mad and depressing most of the times, after watching it and becoming a fan, it made me more calmer and relaxed, which is a good thing.

As for feelings, I guess you can say it makes me happy most of the times. ;)

Meh, not really.

It didn't make me happier, it didn't make me sadder, it didn't make me angrier, it's just there for entertainment to me...that's it.

Well, MLP has made me a little more acceptant towards other people, but what really changed my feelings was not necessary the show itself, but the fandom and more specifically, this forum.

This forum has really opened my eyes to the true meaning of friendship. I've met people that I never would have thought to talk to had I met them first in real life (on account of my shyness and awkardness) and it really made me care about people more. Being here has made me a bit more happy than I have been in the past. I love this site. I probably wouldn't feel this way if I never found this fourm. It's one of the best things that ever happened to me. ;)

MLP made me love shipping stories way more than I already did. My heart always feels warm and relaxed whenever I read a shipping story about those wonderful characters. So, it made me happier for the most part.

Nope, I was a bit of an egotistical, self-absorbed, shallow jerk before I watched MLP, and I'm sorry to report that I haven't changed my tune since then. I guess I'm a little more self aware of my arrogance, but still.....

I don't know if it has caused any drastic change in my personality but it does make me feel marginally more light-hearted relative to my usual self. A bit more enthusiastic about things, if you will.

I believe it has, for the better I guess.

I seem to take into account the feelings, body language and reactions of other people to make sure they are satisfied and I haven't harmed their feelings.

Only since watching the show.

However sometimes I go back to indifferent ways and feel ashamed of myself.

It goes both ways.

I used to be a hyper-critical film buff with standards so absurdly high that it got to the point where I had a hard time enjoying anything anymore. Learning to see the beauty in a children's show like MLP has gotten me to lighten up and stop being so damn pretentious all the time. Just a bit though. There's plenty of pretension still left in me.

The show has also gotten me to try making friends to confirm for myself whether Friendship truly is Magic. Progress on that front is slow going though. But I'm trying.

I like to think it helped change me from the anti-shipping troll I once was (though it was only a minor support)

But what I really accredit it to was that it helped me see my femininity. Yes, I know, you don't have to be feminine to like the show, and many male bronies aren't, but this show did let me open my mind up a bit to that side of me. It helped me realize I shouldn't be ashamed of my love of flowers and cute things and plushies and shoujo and the like. I came to accept who I was and it's something I'm really proud of.

Granted, it isn't THE main mechanic of my lack of masculinity, but it was a big help, and I'm glad I became a fan. No more action figures for me~!

I say MLP change me as well. Before I used to think it was wrong for people to like something thats... I guess girly you can say. Also how I would judge something before giving it a chance. And how I used to be shy around new people. Still kinda shy.

Watching My Little Pony always makes me smile. It really can brighten up my day, and I'd like to think that the whole fandom and the show itself has generally improved my personality and attitude which is always a good thing.
