I wondered how often any pony would goto a convention of any type. This counts for anime, cartoon, Brony, artist, Computers, Business or etc.

myself I'd like to do to conventions for a few things, like games, anime, furry and brony conventions... thats just me but I never have the chance to goto them.

how about you?

I've gone to mini-conventions before when with my parents when I was younger, but when I got older I decided to go do my own thing. So every year I go to an anime convention called Sakura-con and its a huge anime convention in Seattle. It's once a year.

I've attempted to go to other anime conventions and Everfree Northwest, but I'm so busy around those times that I can't make it, but I hope next year I can do more conventions.

Oh, and I've been to an Aboriginal Career Fair.

none of the above - I have never went to a convention, but I am really looking forward to going to one some day (which means I'll probably go to one in the future).

I haven't gone to a con yet, but I've begged my mom to let me go with my friends to Ohayocon and once for TsubasaCon XD Unfortunately my mom doesn't want to drive into Columbus for Ohayocon and we didn't have money for TsubasaCon. I'm definately going to Canterlot Gardens though :D

No but I have been to plenty of Rock Festivals, I went to Mayhem Fest and Uproar Fest, and Warped tour. Those are basically rock conventions when you think about it. Lots of different booths and exhibits for rock music and the rock community. So in a way I have been in a convention but other than that no I have not been to a convention.

I attended E3 in LA. IGN got me in, since at the time I ran one of their Planet sites. It was pretty cool, though more than a little chaotic.

Last year I went to The Grande Masquerade in New Orleans. A few friends and I splurged on the top of the line tickets ($350 each), and it was positively decadent. Open bar, Kobe beef, amazing costumes, and you know...sex, blood and rock and roll.

Just a bunch of Christian conventions (my family dragged me), I'd love to go to a comic or an anime convention sometime, mainly comic con or Bronycon. On the other hand, gonna be at AnimeSTL next year. :D

Soon.

I remember cosplaying as an Engineer at AnimeEvolution 2010 at UBC in Vancouver. That was fun and I'd never experienced anything like it before.

Lucky, I wanted to go to AnimeEvolution that year but I couldn't. I heard it wasent doing so well later on.

I live close enough to Seattle where I could just go to PAX if I ever got to that. Oh and Everfree Northwest, should really look into going to that one if I get the chance.

I also remember going to a sermon at the Vancouver Convention Center by Tony Campolo. That was a really neat thing.

I am Erecting a Dispenser, that's awesome that you cosplayed that class :D

You and me both, I'd like to take part in a convention soon.

Then Option 2 then, since you want to see a convention in the future if you had a chance to go.

I heard good things about PAX, I have to join in with local people to join in it.

I've only been to this summer's BronyCon. It was really cool, and I would love to go to next year's Bronycon.

I attended the summer BroNYCon, and I'll be attending New York Comic Con. Bronycon was my first ever convention. I plan to attend all future Bronycons in the New York area (assuming they continue on the two a year schedule).

I've been to an accounting seminar/convention around May for the CAs, and I plan on going again next year. My friends however have been to multiple anime conventions (one just loves a lot of anime, another does but is much more known when it comes to Yu-Gi-Oh). I don't think I'll ever go to a convention that pertains to media anytime soon to be honest.

I hope there is a con on the west side of the US.

They had me at no booth babes. I don't mind them but it's a bit embarrassing to associate yourself with a group when that kind of stuff resonates with people.

Sakura-con, I heard of that one before... I might have to look it up.

It's one of the largest Anime conventions in the Northwest (ranging about 18,000+ attendees every year) but the convention itself is lots of fun. I also went to my first MLP Panels there this year and got lots of Pony related material, including meeting this artist http://katie-w.deviantart.com/ and commissioning a sketch of the Mane 6 for me! Everfree Northwest was also there advertising. I recommend going to Sakura-con if you're in the area.

Also I tried going to PAX but tickets sold out fast, it's also a much more larger convention then Sakura-con. I've never been there but from what I heard, it's really busy.

I've been to Otakon twice several years back. My most recent convention was Bronycon which was awesome by the way. I'd love to go to San Diego Comic Con but I hear tickets sell out fast. Really fast. Like within 5 minutes fast supposedly. Once I graduate from college in a year and have a place to call my own I will probably have an easier time getting to other Brony Conventions.

I went to a pet bird convention once or twice like ten years ago. Other than that, I've not been to any. Although, Bands of America's Grand Nationals (which I've been to three times) is kind of like an convention. It's mainly an competition, but they always have a great amount of sponsors that set up shops and stuff. Very dangerous shops for a band nerd like me. lol.
