Comment fights everywhere?

Everywhere recently there has been so many bronies and non bros fighting in the comments of every thing, from YouTube to Funnyjunk to everything else. I am posting this now, because everywhere I go there is arguing and it's annoying for me to constantly see. I know this is nothing new, and we have our own ways of dealing with it, but is anyone else just as annoyed by it? I don't take sides when it come to things like this, I usually end up saying one thing to shut both sides up and that's it. But when bronies comment about ponies on something that is not related at all, It disappoints me a little. We have our own websites, and content to comment on, and that is where pony comments should stay. For example, just the other day I saw a ytpmv (you tube pony music video) so I decided to check out the actual song, and the first thing I see is comments about ponies. It makes me mad at the bronies who are posting this, and the people who then reply to them. I think everyone needs to calm down a bit, and stop fighting over nothing. And what sometimes frustrates me the most, is how people start these wars, its like they caught water on fire, I mean honestly how do they start an argument when there is nothing to argue about! Sorry for sounding a bit rude, i'm not hostile towards anyone and I respect everyone. I know posting this is not going to stop the fighting, but I want to know peoples opinions are on this topic.

i dont think thats bad if someone mentions ponies in a non pony video, i dont see the problem there, its like if some one got made at some one because they made a starwars reference in a video thats not about starwars

Welcome to the internet.

This is inevitable. Really, I don't have much else to say. There's going to be fights both retarded and sound, everywhere you go, and that's never going to change. Even in this fandom you can find it everywhere. I guess it annoys me, but I ignore it.

Theres a difference between bronies and "bronies." Bronies are fans of the show. Most participate in the fandom via music, videos, art, etc. Most people on this forum are bronies.

"Bronies" are the people who watch the show "dor the lolz" and because it's the newest fad. I used to be a Funnyjunk brony, I stopped. You know why? I'm tryinga not tothe generalizebrag but most people on the pony thread had no idea about the show except for easily known things like characters. No knowledge of cutie marks, storylines, episodes, etc proves that they aren't true to the show. These are the people who comment in random videos with stuff like "I'm a brony, I din't care what you think!"and "Live and tolerate, mutha fucka." Thats why we get so much hate and thats why theres so many flame wars in unrelated videos.

One of the biggest reasons YouTube is rife with stupid-ass comments and pointless arguments is because it's not only anonymous, but it's fleeting. Without any semblance of threads, bookmarking or continuity, people are free to spew whatever stupid shit is leaking out of their brain in that moment, and they will never be held to it (not even online)...it just gets buried in waves of unrelated comments. Even if somebody did articulately refute what they said, they would probably never even see it.

When people are not faced with their own stupidity, they never have to acknowledge how stupid it was in the first place, and are free to continue being stupid (and blissfully ignorant/uncaring of it) in the future.

I feel the rules for the comments are as follows:

YT: If it's a pony related vid, then comments bashing it are not okay. If it isn't pony related, then comments supporting ponies are not okay. Either way, it is up to the uploader to delete comments like those.

FJ: No rules. FJ's comment section is like a wild west.

As you mentioned, take You're Gonna Go Far, Kid. It was 'remixed' (if that's what you think...) into a pony version. Go to most of the original videos, and you will se hordes of bronies. Now, whether or not they are peacefully grazing or vying for dominance I cannot say, but if X isn't related to Y, and you in turn mention X, then you are at fault. For FJ, if you go to the FJ Pony Thread, you shouldn't go there so bash MLP, as nobody forced you to go there, and again, you are at fault. Again, someone rolling randoms might roll a pony image, which could accidentally start a flame war.

Unfortunately, as much as we may dislike it, I feel it's healthy for the prolonging of the Internet. PS3 C. Lim.
