Will Dj Pon-3 ever talk in season three?

I have heard that Octavia and Rarity are going to get teir own episode so Octavia will talk but what about Vinyl? Will she get an episode with one of the mane 6 or will Dj Pon-3 continue to be a silent backround pony?

I've always wanted an episode with Vinyl Scratch and Rainbow Dash. Not sure what they would be doing, but it should be something awesome. And of course, Vinyl would have to talk.

doubt it. the show is afterall targeted to kids and i dont think they're that interested in watching a badass dj. but if she DO get a voice i hope it's not a very soft one.

The only canon evidence of DJ-Pon3 and Octavia being connected in any way is their trading card. Other than that it's just popular fanon. If we do get a DJ-Pon3 episode, don't count on Octavia being in it.

 

As for her voice, I hope is sounds tomboyish like in the Epic Wub time

Now this is what i think on the trading card it says they might preform a duet and that makes me wonder will they both be in one episode trying to see who is better. That could be a good lesson to learn even if you share many diffrences dosen't mean you can't be thier friend.

DJ's rarely talk during their DJ session time when they are being the DJ for people that like listening to their music, so it really wouldn't make much sense to me to see her talk unless it was about her life or her talking about how it felt to be the DJ after she's done DJing. Don't why you would like her to talk anyways, is not seeing her in a few episodes good enough for you or something?

The question is: Is Hasbro willing to risk putting another essentialy fan built chatacter into a major role on the show? I imagine the Derpy incident still gives them headaches. Not to say that i can identify there being anything wrong with either Octavia or Vinyl having more frontline roles than background (in fact thatd be so awesome!) But imagine how many of the fans will rage if the musicians arent what they expect? Hate mail, complaining and more headaches for hasbro. Additionally who knows? Maybe another hater will create another derp incident? All in all i can imagine Hasbro being very cautious about the issue and unlikely to try a fandom pony for this season.

I don't think Octavia would be played that way, she'd probably sound like one of the many canterlot ponies you see

 

I get the feeling habro doesn't want to cater to bronies but will eventually have to because...well that'd be suicide to ignore them
