Was anyone bullied/harassed for being a brony?

I was for a while until they eventually found out that making fun of me about MLP was probably one of the least effective ways to get me angry.

I've never been bullied or harassed for being a Brony IRL but, I have been a bit bullied/harassed for being a Brony online, although mostly by one kid who thought it would be a good idea to stalk me, which he still occasionally does.

I've never been bullied or harassed for it personally. I don't try to hide the fact i am. I'd wear my alicorn Twilight earrings all the time if i could, but my job doesn't permit wearing them because they're dangling earrings and that can be dangerous while around children (I don't want them ripped out of my ears or something). If I ever get a pony shirt, I'm not gonna be shy about wearing it in public. 

 

I suppose the reason i never got bullied for it is because I was already out of school. The first episode of season 1 didn't premiere until October of 2010, and i had already graduated high school more than a year prior. I didn't start getting into MLP until maybe 2 years ago, and I never used to know what a brony even was. I'm an introvert anyway; i don't go out a lot unless i have to, so there's no one that can really make fun of me. My parents accept it (my mother even goes out of her way to buy me pony plushies once in awhile, during the holidays mostly, which started last Christmas) and my brother and I don't really talk so none of my family cares.

It only really happened once. And honestly, the MLP mockery was the least of my problems with that particular person

I sadly was. I used to have an account on a social media site that I won't mention the name of

Basically, On that site. I was openly a brony and I expressed my love for MLP

People called me Autistic even though I don't have autism. Another person called me a "gay brony" as an insult even though I'm not gay

Some even harsher people told me that I'm "Mentally Ill" and that I'm "batshit crazy"

There are even more harsh messages people sent me on that site, But I don't want to share them because they are awful and sick

Basically some messages where so awful and cruel that I had to delete my account on that site

I never experienced that because I never really told anyone else in real life aside from my family that I was a brony.
