When is the best time to get married?

I would probably say mid 20's to mid 30's. I've always seen Cadence and Shining Armor as somewhere on the earlier half of that range. Screenshot_20200918-154455_Firefox-01.jpeg.392167d71e85e5fb59804db87144cb48.jpeg

It seems a lot of people have a pretty good idea of what they want out of life at that point and have things at least somewhat together career-wise.

Rainbow Rocks... at least how it could've looked... in a stranger, more interesting dimension

For those who are wondering, Twilight is chewing bubble gum.

For age: Married at 34. It's basically whenever you found 'the one' and know it for the rest of your lifetime. It helps that you've either lived together or for sure know each others pet peeves and annoyances.

For time of year: spring or fall because of how beautiful the flowers or trees are at this time (snow is a plus)

  • 4 years later...

I mean 3 AM is the witching hour. Then you can invite all the witches and warlocks to your wedding

In general, I'd say when it's not too hot or cold out in the event you decide to do an outdoor wedding.

Personally, I'd say never because I don't intend on getting married.

I don't think there is a good time to get married.

But then, having been married before, I'm a bit biased.

That's also when work meetings take place so you have a way out of it. 😜

Spring seems appropriate. 🙂 I agree with you, EM. image.gif.fb51b4fe0ce5dc986c669bf259145d88.gif

The simple answer: when you will feel ready. If you don't feel ready, then better no to get married at all :Pip-giggle:

The BAD time to get married is when people around (parents, grandparents, neighbours' dog) want it from you :pip-err:

I’m 31 now, and I find myself in a quieter season of life. It’s not so much about chasing something or holding back—it’s more about giving myself the space to understand what truly matters to me.

I’m not looking for a relationship right now, and probably won’t be for some time.

Things of the heart have always come rarely, and maybe that’s why I value them so deeply when they do. There’s no sense of being behind, just a sense of walking my own path, however slow or uncertain it may seem.

Dogs seem to know when new people are right for their person. I'd trust their judgement.

I would think any time that we aren't flying south would be good for our duck weddings.

I would think a duck groom would wear a top hat and tails to their wedding.

I can picture it in my mind already. Ducks running around with top hats on.

Whenever your rival or relative you don’t like is getting married. Do it right after them and steal the spotlight.

If you're invited, propose or do a surprise pregnancy announcement at the event. You'll get dirty looks for it but the attention will on you instead of them :flutter-wonder:
