mega thread What game are you playing right now?

Currently playing through Saints Row 1 & 2 before I buy the Third this week. Other than that Gears of War 3 and perhaps a little Minecraft.

I was thinking of breaking out the old Gamecube and buying a copy of TimeSplitters 2, Zelda Windwaker, Killer7, and Gauntlet Dark Legacy. My all time favorite GC games! Or replaying my absolute favorite Earthbound (Mother 2)! That game just gets to me and I love it!

Skyrim and Modern Warfare 3. Hopefully I can rent Super Mario 3D Land soon (as soon as the other ONE PERSON in my town with a 3DS returns the rental copy).

Right now as in currently, nothing...

But stuck into (Playing over a long run) I have quite the list: Rockband, Yugioh Forbidden Memories (GREAT Classic), Super Mario Land 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and for PC, Half Life 2.

I kind of liked Red Steel 2, but I didn't play it anymore after I beat it. I never played the original.

Right now I'm playing some classic NES games I got for the 3DS Ambassador program while I wait for Skyward Sword.

The first Red Steel is very different from the second one. It's sword mechanics suck a lot of the time but it has great levels.

RS2 focused more on the sword aspect which is probably one of the main reasons people liked it more. People wanted what RS2 gave them in RS1 but since they didn't they hated the game.

MW3 Campaign on Veteran

It's surprisingly very fun to play it on the hardest difficulty, it forces you to use cover, conserve ammo and have lightning fast reactions.

hehehe

Actually the Grenade Launcher is not a good weapon to use on Veteran as it requires you to get out of cover to avoid bouncing a dud off whatever is in front of you :P

Doom, wiht the Russian Overkill mod. it's just as absurd and overpowered as it sounds. It's so much fun being able to manipulate the enormous crowds on monsters on Sunder as you see fit. Or just annihilate everythingmon screen with the Yamoto. Thousands of enemies in front of you? NOT ANYMORE, CUZ YOU'RE ALL DEAD!

'S late now, though. Gotta sleep.

I really ought to try some Doom mods sometime. I've only ever done the game vanilla.

About to go play some Final Fantasy XII. Still on my first playthrough, this game is hard to go through. It really feels like a trek because of how big the world is and how deliberate the battles are.
