I'm very secretive about Me loving MLP, and I'm NEVER going to say to people that I do! My school is a nest of wasps waiting to find a excuse to pick on you.

I do make references to the show sometimes, like " Meh I think Football is 20% Cooler than Rugby" But no-one picks up on it.

My friends and I saw a picture of Pinkie pie flying with Nyan cat and my friend said " Hey look its rainbow dash!" Then I went MLP pro his ass and told him it was Pinkie Pie. I heard a boy saying across the room " How does he know what Pony-thing that is" which worried me a bit.

Don't be worried.

After all, if someone finds out you can always assassinate them on a dark cold night try to secretly convert them into a Brony so they won't tell anyone.

I'm very open about it, well my social life is pretty much only with Bronies so yeah.

I wear shirts all the time and the belt, I don't hide it. I show it off enough that others come to me and ask if I am one.

So that's that.

I'm a COLT/STALLION, not a filly/mare. Just because I have a round muzzle does not mean I'm female. Remember that. =3

im very very open about being a brony almost my whole grade knows ( im grade 12)

i mean whats so bad that you would want to hide it ?

sure you get odd looks and a stray abusive comment but who cares in the end they don't know you so therefore their remarks have no affects.

to all "closet" bronies i know the feel of being picked on because of being a brony it is not fun  but if you take the shit that comes with it in your stride than people will stop caring about it.

I'm very open about being a brony.  I bought 3 t-shirts at BronyCon, so now I have 5 pony shirts.  I wear one every day.  I've had one person compliment me on my "Rainbow Dash" shirt and one person give me a brohoof when I was wearing my "Brony" shirt.

About a 7 on a scale from one to ten, a lot of people know I like my little pony and I don't really care about that fact. I'm not open enough however to wear shirts or have bags of it, but I will definitely wear fan made jewellery!

I'm not that open. Only a couple of my friends are aware of my affinity for ponies. Nobody in my family is (I don't think). The only swag I have is 3 cups that a friend gave me from her little cousin's birthday party and a bunch of tiny G2 figures she fished out of a box in a storage locker. But I'm not really that open about anything.

I'm very open towards it.

I would wear the merchandise and show it to others, but if you live where I live, you'll know why I don't do it in general.

I am open with it most of the times, otherwise I wouldn't have the DVD's and trading cards.

I think I'm pretty open about it, but not to the point where I'm being obnoxious. Like, I'll wear pony shirts in public, but I won't really bring up MLP unless someone asks me about it. Or if I see someone else wearing something pony related I'll say "Hey, nice (insert pony item here)" and if a conversation develops, cool, if not, that's fine too.

I'm getting to the point where I just tell anyone. And I've only been a brony for 2 months.

But hell, life is short, screw it. It's not worth it to cover up or hide the things you like.

While I do wear the shirts in public and talk about it with the few friends I have, that's about it. I live in a town (really a village) surrounded by other small towns, a half hour drive away from anything interesting. Bronycon had more than 4x as many people as my home town does.  I work with (well used to work with) a bunch of older, down home, blue collar gentleman, who probably wouldn't have gotten that sort of thing. Other than that I don't have my own car, and am kinda scared of driving, so I don't go out much (months at a time go by before there's anything of interest I want to go out to).

If I got out more and knew more people, I'd probably be more open about it.

Noone takes me serious when I say that I like it, so noone cares my firends are like: "hahha good one now go and play battlefield with us."

Though I am crazy so nothing I say can be taken seriously.   :muffins:

Admittedly i'm pretty closed about the subject and haven't really told anyone (In Real Life anyway) that I like the show.

Probably because I fear the social backlash i'd get if I did and the fact my friends would never let me live it down lol.

I think many of us are in a similar situation. So sad that our community has so big wall called "Steriotip". And the principle "didnt watch but blame" is too common now.

I go by don't ask, don't tell. I don't keep it a secret, but i am not in peoples face about it either. I listen to brony music around people. They usually like it, and it doesn't change their opinion about the song when i tell them its an MLP song, that's kind of my test to see if people are brony's because they will say something if they recognize the song. Usually, people don't even ask if i am a brony, in fact, the few people that know cant believe i am a brony, they say i was the last one they expected to be a brony.

IRL, only my two best friends, younger brother and mom knows. Other than that, there's no way to tell that I'm into MLP. Though I have thought about a certain kind of shirt... It would just be a mostly plain T-shirt that has the same color of a pony's coat with the pony's cutie mark as that small emblem at the right chest. Something akin to this.

Hmm... It would seem inconspicuous to all but those who can recognize the emblem as a cutie mark and the color of the shirt as the coat color of the pony with said cutie mark.

Jee, I may be a bit too open now that I think of it! But it's all in good fun, really, and the people I know don't seem to mind.

For starters, everyone in my family knows I like ponies. I even got a pony-related gift for Christmas from my sister, and another from my parents for Christmas. So yeah, they know, they know.

Next up is my sister's boyfriend. He's chill with it.

And finally, my friends. Basically, all my friends know that I like ponies. It's one of the first things people learn about me, if they choose to get to know me well, and it's kind of obvious too, seeing as how I tend to mention it, wear pony shirts, and pretty much every other Instagram post I make involves ponies one way or another.

Around my father? Not at all.

Everyone else? (...Who don't dislike it, of course.) I'm pretty open about it. I mean, I can't afford any shirts, or merchandise like that, as none is sold here, but I do tend to talk about it a lot, and I doodle ponies all the time. I mean, a lot of people don't really talk to me, but I do tend to speak about them to the couple few that will listen.

Oh. And I have a pony backpack now. That I plan on wearing in just under a month. So awesome.

I don't really tell anyone. Like most say, I have a school full of people just waiting to pull your leg. Outside of school though? Sure! If someone asks I'll tell them. I even have a shirt so I'm basically saying I love MLP when I wear that! ;) Now if people at my school were a bit more accepting I'd do just the same in my school as I do outside of school.
