well I just heard the news! sorry guys  the news came in at 3:00 a.m. for me. I was not planning on staying up for the announcement.  the fire type starter is sooo cute! I think that will be my choice! lol.  I was actually expecting the announcement of Ruby/Sapphire/emerald remake. oh well I guess!  glad that it's finally going to be 3-D.

So, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y huh... if I didn't have a 3DS already, I probably would have bought one now, good thing I did pretty much right after Pokemon Black 2/White 2 came out.

Anyway, looks awesome. As much as I would have liked them to keep going with gen 5 a little longer(console battle game would have been nice) oh well, the 3DS is a great system and needs a boost right now anyway, can't wait.

I was planning on buying a 3DS anyway, I'm just going to wait until my tax return comes in and buy a brand new one, haha.

 

I was kind of expecting remakes of Ruby and Sapphire. But here's a thought. I have to get the source, but its been noted that Game Freak wanted to release them, but Nintendo didn't want them on the DS, they wanted them on the 3DS (Basically, killer apps for the 3DS). Obviously, Game Freak never transitions the main series to a different console in the middle of a generation, so they're waiting until Generation VI to do the remakes. So for those expecting R/S, give them a bit more time.

 

I'm hoping for two things though. I still like Global Link, so I hope they'll keep that, and I hope that they get Cross-Generation trades working again, like G/S/C did with R/B/Y. That would be awesome.

Planning  on getting Pokemon Black 2, and I plan for my team to be:
 

   

Infernape, the final form of my first ever Pokemon, Chimchar. He's there for two reasons: a.) He stands tall in competitive and b.) he's my first Pokemon. Technically, Turtwig is, but I shortly lost my Diamond game after it evolved into Grotle. So I got Platinum and chose Chimchar, and he's stuck with me up to Pokemon Black. Nonetheless, he's a valuable Pokemon and will always be on my team.

 

Hydreigon. Typically it'd be Garchomp, but for competitive reasons, Hydreigon takes the spot as a powerful Special Sweeper in a team of Physical Sweepers and tanks.

 

Swampert/Venusaur. Swampert is a good Physical Sweeper that can balance the team more, but Venusaur is a much better troll with Sleep Powder and Leech Seed...

 

Dusknoir. Caught one in Emerald, trained it, brought it up to Platinum and evolved it. One of the best of my Emerald team.

 

Jolteon. Got my Eevee in Platinum and found a Thunderstone. What more can I say? One of the best of my Platinum and PBR team.

 

He is a boss competitvely. Also used as a tank/Physical Sweeper to make the team sturdier and more balanced.

I've been a Pokemon fan since the Pokemon Emerald days. I used to always play Pokemon games on the bus while going on field trips in Elementary School. I might think of buying a 3DS to play the new Pokemon games.

Darn(Can I swear? I mean like actual swears none of this Eqeastria fill ins). I Can't wait for October. Namley beacuse I'm graduating soon so I'll have more time for Pokemon, And Ponies too. Looks like I'll be one of the few to choose Chespin. Sireuosly, From Gen III on, the Grass type staters have just gotten more epic. Torterra and Serperior have rally helped mr out a couple of times.

But seriously, I'm an avid modder. I've made a few Pokemon hacks in my day, I am pretty good at it.

 

Here are my top  favorite Pokemon, 1 is favorite, 4 is least:

I would have to say that my favorite pokemon overall is Zigzagoon, don't know what it is about that pokemon but I have always loved him. Also I would have to see Gen. 3 is the peak of the Pokemon series. After that the pokemon ideas started getting really bad. Not sure about the X&Y games, but the look fairly promising.

I'm excited for the new game.

Not so much Oshaweed or Benjamin Frokie, but Fennekin looks amazing,

and shall be my starter for sure. I'm anxious to see if the game introduces any new Ghost types (since I tend to prefer them since Red where my favorite became Haunter.)

Also,

"a wild Pikachu appeared!" makes me so happy. It's been years since you could catch a wild Pikachu... which I've always found strange, since he's still used as the mascot of the series.

I can't believe how much I've missed Pokemon since I broke my DSi and stopped playing it two years ago. I'm getting a 3DS very soon and I'm going to be getting every single Pokemon game up to Black and White 2 while waiting for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity and Pokemon X and Y to come out.

So tonight I decided to listen to the Pokemon theme songs, and I can't believe that there were slight tears coming to my eye. Listening to all those theme songs really reminded me of all the fun times I had playing Pokemon and watching the latest Pokemon episodes that came out... until of course my "friends" at the time (2 years ago when I stopped) told me that it was immature and childish to like/watch/play Pokemon, and I done the obvious thing and tried to fit in by stopping. Now I realize how much more fun anyone's life can be with Pokemon in it.

Literally every song from the original to Diamond and Pearl: Galactic battles gives me so much nostalgia, probably because that was all I watched before I stopped, but yeah. I mean, after watching Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, how can you not like Lucario? Very good Pokemon to have at high levels too. I don't know, I just think Lucario is awesome.

Hey, everypony! Being the Pokemon fan I am, I was browsing through youtube today, and discovered that Nintendo has revealed a new Eveelution for generation 6!! Here's a video clip:

 

 

Some are spreading rumors that it could be based off a new type (such as a light type Pokemon), but one says that it could be a flying type. To be honest, I'm not really sure what type it'll be, but I like how it looks!

The name for it is apparently Sylveon, so maybe a steel type? But even from the attacks it uses., it's hard to suggest what type it could be. But the attacks (especially the card one) looks interesting! Can't wait for more info on it!!! So glad to see another eveelution! I wonder if they'll reveal another one along with it....

 

So, what do you guys think? I think this is so cool, and amazing! I can't wait to hear more info on this Pokemon! And I hope they maybe reveal another one with it, too! Can't wait for Pokemon X and Y...Nintendo, you never fail to amaze me!
