So, I had this vague idea of writing up analyses of the various shipping couples--sticking primarily to various pairings of the Mane Six with each other as well as the more popular alternative pairings, such as Twilight/Trixie, Twilight/Celestia, etc--in the same vein as my psychological analyses, figuring out on a real level just how likely the couple would actually work out if realistically attempted by the two involved.

 

Is there any interest in that?

Not quite. The idea is more to address the psychological state of the two involved, what might bring them together, what might make their relationship difficult, and why the relationship would or would not work out, and how long it might last.

 

So, for example, if the pairing we speak of is, as you say, Pinkie Pie and Applejack, I would briefly summarize their psychological state, analyze what the two would find interesting in each other, what they wouldn't, etc etc...basically stuff along those lines.

I am, actually. It would be a change of pace from the frequent posting of smut pictures and fan fics---not that I hold that against anyone. A psychological analysis would potentially be good food for thought.

Right then. I'll probably start them soon, then, when I next get the chance to sit down and do some real thinking. I'll probably start with Rainbow Dash based pairings and move on from there.
