Talking to my friend and asking if he ever played Silent Hill. bear with me.

 

I asked him if he played any of them and he said he played most of the first one and a bit of the second one. And I was like "Oh you know the plot then?"

And he said "I do know a little about HOW Silent Hill happened, all I know is that Umbrella let loose a virus."

 

 

...The poor guy was so sincere and I just cracked up so hard. I corrected him course, gently, but that was freakin' hilarious.

 

 

(To those not familiar with these games, he mixed up Silent Hill with Resident Evil, another very popular videogame horror series)

Had a performance appraisal at work today, went in expecting to get an earful due to a couple of unfortunate incidents that have taken place in the last week or so at work, though they've been more or less unavoidable and outside of my control... in the end my boss was amused when I asked, incredulously, "wait, that's it?" after he began wrapping things up after having had nothing but positive things to say. x_x

 

But yeah. I had a grin on my face afterwards. Especially considering that not more than a couple days prior I was talking to someone here about how obsessively worried I was that I was on the verge of being axed.
