Mysteries of ponynomicon! Thread revived it seems?

Since somebody posted Ocean Princess already, which is undeniably epic, I'll search for another TSFH track:

And now something from me, from a completely different direction and different approach:

Hi... i need some help. Can someone tell me, the titles of the song on this video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Se6z18S1pdQ

and in this one (At the moment when the man attacks the girl)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqTv5pkv2hc

I hope you can help me!!!! smile.png

I believe the first one's Moving Mountains, from Two Steps from Hell.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMrmnB2LjjM

Although I used Shazam, so that's kinda cheating :P

Anyways, getting back to the topic, I really like Epica's version of Pirates of the Caribbean. Although it might be my bias from watching a really great one piece amv featuring it, but I think it's rather epic. When it gets going, it really gets going.

Genesis- Supper's Ready

Rush- 2112

Buckethead-Soothsayer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adV8-_hgL4g

Heck all of Buckethead's and Rush's songs could be considered epic.

Buckethead also has:

Jordan

Nottingham Lace

Both of which are very epic songs

Rush has:

Working Man

YYZ

Natural Science

Also "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria

Oh i just feel that kind of feel when i listen to this. The mix is just so freaking perfect and the entire song just explodes with emotion. I mean yeah it's freaking heavy but it's really something else. The most epic song i know. That is, to me of course. I mean two steps from hell, or any OST or movie music for that matter, are of course awesome but don't really speak to me.

And it's a damn Pre-Production demo. Wat

Music that can generate emotion and penetrate the soul? Two songs comes to mind instantly.

X-MATIC

I can't really describe this one. It's used for a father vs. son duel, but manages to be so much more at the same time. It truly evades description.

and Through the Sea of Time

To this day, so many years later, it always brings tears to my eyes. I'll never forget what you did for us, Grovyle.  :(

I personally like these two, though I can't explain too well why (but that's what the links are for):

This one gives me a sense of adventure. And the one below erm...just listen!

If you have the time, also search for "If We Hold On Together" by Diane Ross. It's played in The Land Before Time which is without a doubt, a great movie! It gives you a reason to watch the credits, which few people bother watching.

Definitely this song. This song is considered a masterpiece by many. Mainly due to it's music video, but it's a bit too NSFW, so if you want to see the music video, just search DyE - Fantasy.

But the song itself is amazing, it builds up so nicely and calmly yet exciting.

Here's a song by the people who did the Space Jam theme.

Now, here's some elementary schoolers doing the Time Warp, using moves from Just Dance 4 (I don't have the game, I am a Rocky Virgin who has listened to the soundtrack and seen filmed clips of shadowcasts and such, but I never saw Rocky Horror live before). Oh, and they changed the lyrics and just pose for Columbia's tap solo.

This music right here. My favorite video game track ever. The Opened Way is dramatic and moving in so many ways to me.

Another one I really think that could drive one to action is Short Hair from Mulan

It feel so...decision-y.

"Epic", as in "vast", "journey-esque", "intense" and "climactic"? in that case, I'm posting the Adagio section of Antonin Dvorak's "New World Symphony". It's so epic that Neil Armstrong was listening to it when he went to the moon. What a sublime honor. (you may have also heard it at the beginning of the "Space Madness" episode of Ren And Stimpy)

P.S. Props to whoever it was that posted "Supper's Ready" by Genesis and whoever posted the Alcest song.
