It's from the Hunger Games. I hate the Hunger Games, I think it was terrible literature and worse film, but I always figured it was one of those things like Harry Potter or Twilight or something: even when you hate it, everyone knows about it.

I don't like the whole character rivalry bullshit. I find it obnoxious, and pointless. I've said this elsewhere, but I really mean this, RD is my least favorite Mane 6, but I wouldn't be happy at all if she was ruined or killed off or something like that. Just because I have a hard time relating to her doesn't make her any less likeable than the others in my opinion. Also, my current list was changed slightly by the last episode.

Most RD fans had a tendency to hate Rarity, though, and would attack her regularly. That pretty much provoked us, and boom, given that we constantly were bickering about it, it created a sort of rivalry. (That's what I've gathered, at least.)

 

And why do RD fans usually dislike Rarity?

 

Sonic Rainboom.

 

That's usually at the heart of it; Rarity stole the show from RD in that episode. They didn't like that.

 

One more reason why that episode is a cancerous lump on the side of the fandom.
