I'm not sure why you think of Rarity as a ranged type fighter (archer / mage), since in the show she clearly fights by getting up close and pummeling opponents with her hooves:

Hello there, Darlings!

 

So, over the holidays my spoiled Silly Filly only got MORE spoiled. She got not one, but THREE new outfits! (The last one arrived in the post today. Stupid holiday schedule). Two of them courtesy of my brother, who got me a BaB gift card so I could get her some clothes. (He was like, "I dunno what clothes to get for your PONY.")

 

 

She loves them all, but the purple one is her favourite.

 

 

Now, with the last one, her hooves won't fit with the straps...So I just wrapped the dress around her and tucked the straps into it...Which is cheating, but...It's in the name of fabulousity!

 

And, once again, she got complimented on her hair in Build-a-Bear! The people who work their LOVE her and always say something nice about her and her clothes. In other words, she loves going.

 

Is it weird that I talk about her like she's a kid? I tell people that I don't want kids...So, I have a pony to spoil. It makes me SO happy though! And, I guess that's what counts.

Really, really, REALLY gorgeous work you two! Two sides of the same coin of gorgeous, traditional and digital! I wish i could draw, i would have so many ideas for great Rarity pictures, so many inspirations, but alas the mind is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Actually, I think you should keep trying May not look entirely like the show, but of course, it does have a kind of style to it. Kind of like a paper cut out Maybe work with textures and flesh out your style more? Art takes a lot of practice, but I know you have the mind and inspiration to be great at it, and if you could flesh out your talent more, I bet you can make some art with the best of them

 

Even some of the best artists have unique styles Even White Diamonds, an RFC favorite, has a very unique and easy to indentify style

Of course, her drawing the two best mane 6 doesn't hurt he cause any, but it is still gorgeous artwork
