It is sad that so many movies are lost to time because there is no interest in their copyright owners for a dvd release.

I still have several on tape, but no player for them, so must rely on my fond memories (The Wizard of speed and time, for example)

A shame, really - it is a key Flutters episode, not only for the moral and story (and the "I could just SCREAM" scene" ) but because the opening scenes at the spa really highlight the difference in the beauty regimes of our two most decorative ponies; Rarity has a full facial mask, cucumber slices to reduce puffiness around the eyes, and so forth. And Flutters? a small dab on each cheek

Green Isn't Your Color is one of my bottom half Season 1 episodes plot-wise, yet it has some of my favorite Flutershy and Pinkie Pie moments!

My point exactly, yes. Photo Finish was not incorrect in her assessment, but somewhat unpleasant in the way she rode roughshod over the desires of both Rarity AND Fluttershy in that episode.

It was ever thus though. Rarity works very hard on her appearance, and the image she projects of herself. It is a credit to her Element that she is not continuously jealous of Fluttershy, really....
