For those of you who have read the Official MLP Comics from IDW, you may well know what this is all about. For those that don't, here is a short summary. Basically Rarity has been transformed into a villain similar to Nightmare Moon by dark forces which once influenced Luna. Rarity is now known as Nightmare Rarity.

 

This picture was quite fun to make, as the mane is full of detail and colours.

Really don't like the comics: The art is really uncanny valley for me and I feel the writing is trying too hard. Lovely pic though.

And I use Inkscape for my vectors. Mostly because its free and probably the easiest to use, at least for MLP vectors.

Here is another relatively simple picture of Nightmare Rarity. This time I have her with a kind of smug smile on her face (She loves being evil  ). I do really enjoy drawing her now. I guess you can all expect more art of her from me, in the future.

One of my friends challenged me to draw my OC Ion with a ponytail. I think it suits her. 

 

It would appear Rarity got to her mane to spruce it up (Like she does). I think Ion likes it.
