I agree. Ironcially, it's the same thing as the show itself for me- peer pressure from the massive popularity/criticism= why shouldn't I read/watch it. I probably might read a paragraph or two...

It was the first fanfic I read, and that's both a good and bad thing. Good, because it's an amazingly written story, bad because it's left a lasting impact on me, i.e. whenever I see/read/listen to anything about Rainbow Dash, I always get choked up and teary-eyed. Goodness gracious it's an awesome story.

Honestly, my opinion of it was sorta like this as well.

 

The writing style is actually kind of lame, I didn't get too far into simply because of that. It didn't hook me. I think the whole premise of it is rather interesting, and just thinking about how it would end out made me sad, but I don't think it was executed really well.

It was the first MLP fanfic I read, and is still the best one I have ever read. I actually didn't cry while reading it. I cried about an hour after I read it.... Guess it took me some time to process that much emotion...

It was an amazing fanfic. I didn't really cry. But then again, I didn't cry when my grandfathers past away neither. I did feel sad on the inside though. In fact, I'm gonna go read it again! THANKS FOR REMINDING ME OF ITS EXISTENCE!

I didn't have any thoughts other than "This is really written out well."
