I still don't get why those pregnancy games exist

What really perplexes me is that they're part pregnancy, part dress-up.  It's as though the developer said, "Okay, let's make an in-no-way educational or accurate pregnancy simulation game...  Featuring ponies.  But that's clearly not enough to keep the attention of the curious adult males girl children playing them.  So let's make the player elaborately dress up the foal just about the MOMENT she's born."

Babe (Rainbow) has been appearing more and more in my dreams.  In one instance, I was about to get my butt kicked by a creepy zombie granny, and I called out to Rainbow for help.  She swooped in and staggered the zombie granny, and I managed to not get eaten.

 

In another dream, I was surrounded by a zombie mob (it's always friggin' zombies), and Rainbow flew in and carried me off to safety.

 

In another, 'nother dream, I was attacked by a rabbit plushie (at least it wasn't a zombie), and the rabbit was smacked down when it came too near our Mega Dash plush (no doubt inhabited and manipulated by Rainbow herself).

 

So basically she saves my butt on a regular basis in dreams. xD  I feel no shame about this!  She's my hero; always there when I need her.

It's been a while since I popped on in here. Anyways, take a listen to what I did with Audacity a while back. It was my first time using Audacity like that so I know it ain't the greatest. I hope y'all enjoy!

You'll notice that I'm likelier to stop at the line art than I am to do full color pieces. ^ ^;  I do still hope to go back and color all of these at some point.

 

I based this drawing on a frame from "Rainbow Falls."

That's what I love about Rainbow Dash. She always save ponies who are in a jam, even in dreams. She ain't called the Element of Loyalty for nothing.

Sharing a couple drawings I've done of Babe.  I make a distinction between Babe and show-Dash, but there's an undeniable resemblance. ; )  You'll perhaps notice an evolution of her mane style.

 

She'd been growing her hair out, and an additional little tuft would sometimes sprout in front of her ear before being automatically tucked back behind with a hoof.

 

And then this happened. ^ ^

This is the closest I've posted to how her mane appears nowadays.  Fuller in back, but every bit as fun and spiky.  In this image, she's wearing the two necklaces I've gotten her.

It's amazing how nmuch the 3D models have improved since the Garry's Mod ones

With these next two drawings, I will have caught everyone up (more or less) on my Rainbow arts.

 

I drew this portrait of Babe on a small-ish piece of poster board using a mechanical pencil, Sharpie pen, markers, and colored pencils.  I love her mane style like this. x3

 

I still need to color this piece (working with a larger sketchbook nowadays), but I wanted to show Babe in her winter attire.

I've more or less made my peace with G3 Rainbow Dash.

...Despite my unchangeable and absolute preference for G4 Dash.  But I don't think that surprises anyone.

 

Besides, G3 Dash is comparable to Rarity in some ways, and I've got nothing against Rare.
