If there's one thing I know about Trixie it is that she would not take any fighting over her seriously. Oh I'm sure she'll be flattered, even pleased, because of her ego but I'd feel she would say something along the lines of "Only the Great and Powerful Trixie understands Trixie, though it pleases Trixie to hear so much talk of I the greatest and most powerful unicorn".

Watches the two debate who understands Trixie better, who is more deserving of her attention and I roll my eyes.

 

Sure I was being humorous in my previous post (http://mlpforums.com/topic/49269-trixieism/?p=1745866)...but why do you take time from your life to criticize our satirical obsessive fan behavior?

I approve of this.

 

You know, most of the time that Derpy and Trixie appear together in fanfiction, they're very close friends (although I've never seen them shipped).  They're sort of OTF (One True Friendship).  Makes perfect sense: Both are social outcasts and (fanon) Derpy, more than any other character, would probably love Trixie's over-the-top performances.

 

EDIT: TrixieDerpy shipping does exist.  There's just not very much of it.  http://www.fimfiction.net/story/1201/magic-is-friendship

Though it isn't very likely; Derpy is a resident of Ponyville, and Trixie is... uh... where the hay is she from? Canterlot? Though I guess it doesn't matter since travelling is kind of her thing.

I was joking around, I wasn't actully criticizing anyone. I was simply pointing out the perhaps too obvious humor and adding my thoughts with what was going on.

 

Actually in that episode Trixie still used third person and she was not performing, not saying 'I' or 'me' but saying 'Trixie'.

 

Unless you consider the magic dual itself in the eyes of Trixie a performance, or when she's talking with Snips and Snails, for example.
