Phobias?

I have Cnidophobia. A fear of stinging/biting insects. This happened when I was three and I was in a car with four wasps, I didn't know what they were so I poked at them. I got stung 18 times before my parents took me to a hospital. Oddly, I didn't develope an allergy after that.

Tyraphobia or something like that. Its the fear of repeating holes.

 

Theres no story behind it. Repeating holes just make me feel weird.

I have a mild case of Mottephobia (fear of butterflies and moths), but it's not as bad as my Arachnophobia. Oddly enough, I don't find scorpions to be that scary, but let me tell you...

I don't know what the word for needle phobia would be. I was always anxious waiting to get shots at the doctor, but apparently my anxiety was bad enough one year to make me pass out afterwards. It's not even the pain that bothers me, it's the idea of a foreign object going under my skin and the thought of something being injected into my blood.

I have a very unrealistic phobia because I'm scared of something that is extinct lol (Phobia of Trilobites ._. seriously that animal is the ugliest thing I've seen thank goodness it's extinct o.o)

I'm terrified of needles. I'll get light-headed and even fainted once when getting a shot.

 

I have an irrational fear of the water because I'm afraid a shark will eat me. The weird thing though is that I find sharks super interesting. I like reading about them and watching specials about them and the Great White Shark is one of my favorite animals. But I just KNOW that one is going to get me if I go in the water.

 

I also have some pretty bad social anxieties that make it hard for me to leave my house.

Even though I'm not completely terrified of clowns, they still freak me out a whole lot and sometimes they do scare me. They are pretty much the only thing I fear in general.

Every time I see one nearby - or even hear them buzzing - I either A.) freeze in place and hope it goes away, or B.) run past as quickly as possible, preferably to safety indoors.

 

Don't ask me why I'm so scared of them, though. I've never been stung by one. I'm just scared silly of them.

btw i live in Australia sooooooooo maybe create a charity for me i will be accepting $800 a week to help me buy insect repellents and other necessities and maybe a next gen console or two.

Arachnophobia's the most obvious one, which is weird because when I was a kid I was actually kind of fascinated by spiders. Now if I see one crawling on my wall I run like my pants are on fire. It might be genetic actually if that's even possible, cause nearly every member of my family are terrified of spiders. 

 

Up until a year or two ago, I also had bad Achluophobia (fear of the dark) to the point I couldn't sleep without any form of light source present.

By definition, I am phobic of moths. They have no control over their flying, and they are... hairy... Bugs should not be hairy! They just shouldn't! >.<

 

If a moth touches me it causes me to lose my mind. I have to immediately get to a sink or shower and wash off wherever it touched me, otherwise I freak out and start shaking uncontrollably.

It seems that its the same in every town, o brother of mine! People who are scared the fuck pit of spiders! Maybe their not aware that theres really no need for this teary despair! That the arachind repellent can you and I will share!

I have a LOT of phobias. A LOT.

 

• Arachnophobia (fear of spiders) - Ever since I saw a black widow on my garage wall, I've been petrified. Also, one time when I was in, like, 4th grade, I pulled out a book from the library shelf, and it had a spider on the cover, and I screamed BLOODY MURDER.

 

• Astraphobia (fear of storms/thunderstorms) - I have a long story about this one, but whenever I see and hear thunder and lightning I either... A. Cover my ears and eyes B. Blast music all the way up C. Scream and cry

 

• Spheksophobia (fear of wasps) - When I still lived in Kentucky, there was a huge wasp nest near my house and every time I went past it, I ran for my dear life. And, whenever I walked home from school in months like April or May, wasps and bees surrounded the goshdarn school.

 

I probably have about 2 or 3 more, but...I don't feel like looking up what they're called.

Don't worry, I share this fear, although I'm more scared of wasps than bees.

 

In my mind, it's a perfectly justified fear, as bee stings are very painful. I know bees don't sting without provocation, which makes me a little less scared of them, but wasps are evil beings that indiscriminately attack anything in their paths.
