Which CMC will get a cutie mark first?

i think they will probably get them all at once but as a plot twist in my mind i could see Scootaloo and Applebloom getting there's first and then they stay with Sweetie Belle and do bunches of things to help her get her cutie mark and then at the end of the episode she does...just my guess

Through writing a story about the CMC, and thinking about cutie marks with regards to them, I have changed my mind about who is closest.  While I still think Scootaloo is the FURTHEST from her cutie mark, I think Apple Bloom is the closest. 

 

I just wonder what she would do with the "wrong mark" as I think she could get an apple mark from helping on the farm when she really should have a construction oriented mark.

Well, I think it'd be nice if they all got them at the same time.

 

However, I think that it'd be a good episode opportunity if one of them got it, and then they started fighting but in the end learned that they can still be friends even if what brought them together doesn't still stand tall.

 

Maybe at the end of said episode the other two or one get theirs too. I figure they'd all get 'em in the same episode though, or at least close to each other.

I think it'll happen all at once, but realistically Scootaloo's the closest to figuring it out.  Whereas we only saw Apple Bloom's and Sweetie Belle's skills occasionally, we see Scootaloo doing fancy moves on her scooter all the time.

I can explain one thing. Either they will get them in the very last episode of the show, or they won't get them at all. Reason being that the only reason the CMC exists is to seek out cutie marks, so if they get them it would render them null as characters.

Sweetie Belle.  They'll probably get them all in the same episode, but I think the order will be Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, then Apple Bloom.  Apple Bloom was the first blank flank, so I figured they'll save her for last.

I think there's a 50/50 chance the show will have them get their cutie marks at the same time, you know, for thematic ressonance and all that stuff. However, I hope they don't go that route. It makes it more intresting and unpredictable if they get them seperately.

I really hope they don't all get them in the same episode. It's a copout that avoids the reality that people don't mature at the exact same rate and makes for a far less interesting story. I think there's potential for a sweet resolution to an episode where one of them gets their cutie mark that they realize that they don't really have to leave the CMCs because their friendship is their real "cutie mark".

Incidentally why no Babs option?  Agreed about Sweetie Belle.  They have acknowledged that they did not go with Scoots being handicapped because given the implied orphan they felt it would be too depressing for a kid's show.  That being said Scoots is always on her Scooter and given the fact that RD has complimented her on it she might start to do more with that and beat the other two out.

 

Personally I would like them to get their marks, but still go on crazy adventures.  They showed in Hearts and Hooves day and Family Appreciation Day that they can still be looney even without searching for their marks.  Also I believe that given the fans are already 98.9573% sure of their actual marks I think that continuing down the 'do crazy stuff get cutiemarks' method of character growth can only go so far before it falls into tedium. 

 

I would love to see an episode where they do a more serious take on their friendship by having one of them get their mark, and not wanting to let the other two know for fear of being rejected for having the thing they so desired.  This of course would end with their new mark being revealed and the others still accepting her saying that they are proud of their friend.  Conversely it could go with a one-sided version of the ending from Green isn't your Color where we follow one after getting their cutiemark and she tries to hide it, but at the end it turned out all 3(4?) of them had gotten theirs and were all afraid of being rejected.

 

That being said I find it unlikely it would be happening before the final season.  Though there is the fact that Lauren Faust has said she had intended on the CMC to get their marks eventually.

Ya know, my money's been on Apple Bloom for awhile now.  I think she's the most likely of the CMC to get hers first because (1) she's the most driven of the CMC to get hers, as was displayed in "The Cutie Pox" (granted, she lost some of that obsession at the end, but still, I think she's always been the most driven of the 3; it's just part of her nature as an Apple), and (2) she's the de facto leader of the CMC, which, granted, on its surface doesn't really mean anything, but if you think about it, her getting her cutie mark first would affect the CMC as a whole the least.  Being the good friend that she is, and feeling an obligation as leader, Apple Bloom would remain as leader of the CMC and work harder than ever to help her friends get their own cutie marks, and very little instability would come into the group as a result of her getting her cutie mark.  So, that's my case for Apple Bloom getting her cutie mark first; may or may not happen, but I think there's plenty of good reasons that it will.

I'd love it if they got their cutie marks (what a term, blech) at the same time.

 

I would love it even more if the show writers made it something we didn't expect, like a triforce or something. It'd be great if their special talents weren't the ones we thought were obvious (scooting, singing, craftsmanship), but were something else extremely fittng that took more time to develop. That would be why they were blank flanks for so long.

If we're going with what we assume their talents are then I'm going to say either Applebloom or Sweetie Belle will be first and Scootaloo will be last. Scootaloo seems to care the least about finding what her special talent/who she's meant to be.

 

I think they'll all get their cutie marks in one episode , in some sort of crazy adventure.

The three always stick together trying to get their cutie marks, so unless they go their separate ways and find out what their 'special' talent is by themselves I'm gonna say all three get it at the same time.

Separately, either Scootaloo or Sweetie Belle would get their cutie marks first seeing that Scootaloo uses her scooter most of the time and Sweetie Belle sings quite often. I don't see Apple Bloom building/constructing anything other than fixing the barn (assuming her cutie mark will be something construction related)

I couldn't say whether or not they'd have the talents the audience seen early on, I mean, in One Bad Apple, it seemed Scootaloo had an interest with building and mechanics seeing that she had all the materials *building wise* and primarily did all the mechanic work, even shown more then once in the same episode with grease, underneath the float, and working the wheel. I'm assuming this might be her talent or perhaps dancing. I can't imagine a scooter. That's so cliche and rarely, the cutiemark means something so blunt. Hell, even Pinkie Pie's mark doesn't mean "PARTYING". I would like to see something in building and in my headcannon, Scootaloo might be together with Sweetie and Apple Bloom and help them when they find theirs. {Even if Scootaloo is a mechanic, she could also do dancing still, Sweetie can sing beautifully, and Apple Bloom design}

 

I think Scootaloo would probably hers after Sweetie, but Apple Bloom last because Apple Bloom's family always been the last in the class to gain a mark. Norally, following this, Scootaloo would have been first, but I don't believe that Scootaloo would realize her abilities if it was with dancing or mechanics since its no "Rainbow Dash like." Getting over the fact she's not going to be JUST like her, puts her in second place.

Well here's my opinion;

 

Scootaloo will most definitely get her cutie mark first because of her role model. Rainbow Dash will get her involved in stuff that she will probably take an interest in. Doing tricks, going fast etc.

 

Apple Bloom is a bit hyperactive and is always trying to find a new thing instead of focusing on what she's the best at. (Building!)

 

And it has already been revealed that Sweetie Belle is shy when it comes to singing in front of people, so that probably won't ever happen. Any time soon i mean.
