The cover from Grand Theft Auto 4 is fantastic. It's unique style mixed with an accurate portrayal of the game's activities and characters, makes for an awesome selling hook.

 

 

My all time favorite cover however is from Diablo 2. Blizzard's art team masterfully conveyed pure terror.

The box art here perfectly conveys the feeling you get playing the game- you carry a mysterious sword and travel on large open fields on top of giant golems, and that's exactly what the box art shows perfectly.

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition(Europe):

Probably the best box art in the history of forever, why the hell didn't we get this box in NA Capcom?

Ever since kirby's air ride Nintendo decided it was better if kirby was mad on the american Box art of kirby games with kirby's super star Ultra and Kirby's epic yarn being the only exceptions which I personly see unnessary.
