The only time I ever wanted to slap Rarity was in "Sweet and Elite", where she decided to lie about her reasons for not coming back to Ponyville for Twilight's birthday, even though her histrionics were still funny. (Rarity, the only pony who can ham it up when writing a letter. Light Yagami would be proud.) Then she abuses poor Opal by spraying her with water to make her look sick. Don't get me wrong, I love the episode, but Rarity really was misbehaving.

For the majority of the time, the traits Rainbow Dash has that piss non-Dash fans off, I either appreciate, as they demonstrate just how realistic her personality is in that it has flaws, or I am indifferent about. However, there have been a few occasions where it's gone a tad far, and I then can understand why people find her so unlikeable at times. Mare Do Well was an episode a lot of people didn't like, because the plot not only made Dash's friends 'teach her a lesson' in a rather passive aggressive fashion, but it also, obviously, made Dash look like a self-absorbed jerk throughout the entire episode. There have been other occasions but that one sticks out.

Pinkie Pie has her great moments and the staff of the show really know how to use her for the best comedic effect, but she has moments that go way over head in terms of tone or just is too wacky in current situations. I do like though that she is aware of it and tones it down when needed. So a fair balance with her.

I could never slap Twily  But alas, she has had moments where should could have done better. 

 

One moment that stood out was when Twilight Sparkle refused to be scientific in Feeling Pinkie Keen. For all her talk about reason and logic, she refuses to accept the evidence that's right in front of her. Science is, as Carl Sagan used to say, a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge.

True she has been a bit closed minded at times where the explanation isn't always so clear cut though I think the way she acted in Feeling Pinkie Keen was a bit more understandable than her other examples. In Bridle Gossip she didn't even so much as look at the one book that Zecora suggested to cure her and the other mane 6's poison joke infection because of its title.

Then they go on and eat the cake and worse they try and hid it from her. You 3 are horrible. Learn some patients you 3 and learn to wait.

My no. 1 favorite is Zecora and I can say, no. She's never done anything that made me want to slap her. Partially because she doesn't get enough screen time, and partially because her character is full of such wisdom unlike any other character. Her wisdom matches that of celestia herself...

Okay, honesty time: she was a bit out of line whilst making other ponies cry that one time. As for Princess Luna, her actions as Nightmare Moon were obviously reproachable, but she wasn't really "herself" at all (so I'll give her an exception on that one.)

My favorite is Fluttershy thought the only part that she has ever really pissed me off was in Putting Your Hoof Down. That led to one of the saddest parts in the show in my opinion, that one little clip with Rarity and Pinkie Pie. Their faces..... Luckily, she did realize her mistake and told off Iron Will, politely.

Yeah, that was a pretty messed up thing for them to do.  They kind of come off as bad friends in that episode.  Their behavior was definitely disappointing.

Though Iron Will did take some of his lessons a bit far he showed at the end of the episode by keeping his promise of not having to pay unless you are completely satisfied that he does at least have some sense of honor and that he might have learned something from the experience.

Pinkie has dome some weird things, I really didn't like her in Luna Eclipsed, She was just being mean to Luna, even if she was just pretending. I don't think Luna knew she was pretending, so I didn't like that :/

I dont think Pinkie was bragging to Rainbow,she most likely wasn't thinking like any old Pinkie would do and made a slip up.Thats what i think

It'd be boring to just talk about my favorite, so here we go with my six favorites.

 

Twilight - She acted like a total jerk in Feeling Pinkie Keen. She was on her high horse and acted like such a know-it-all. She definitely deserved a good swift kick in the flank, and not just a slap.

 

Rarity - Making Sweetie Belle pull her heavy belongings in Sleepless in Ponyville, being a conceited jerk in Sonic Rainboom, and wishing nasty things on Fluttershy in Green Isn't Your Color. Oh, and her treatment of Applejack in Look Before You Sleep. She was definitely an instigator.

 

Pinkie Pie - I can't think of any. Sure, she's had a few annoying moments, but she has never acted in a way where I felt she needed a slap.

 

Rainbow Dash - There's so many. Her mocking of Twilight and calling her an egghead on more than one occasion, scaring little kids on Nightmare Night, her bad attitude in May The Best Pet Win, her ego in MMDW, her impatience with Fluttershy in Dragonshy, her abandonment of Rarity and Pinkie Pie in the Last Roundup, and her attitude that the Hearth's Warming Eve play was all about her and that she was the star. Dash has a lot of jerky moments, so I'm probably scratching the surface here.

 

Fluttershy - "New Fluttershy" in Putting Your Hoof Down.

 

Applejack - Making Twilight cry in Winter Wrap Up, instigating Rarity in Look Before You Sleep, and saying that Pinkie is "A few apples short of a bushel."

 

Still, I love the Mane Six, and I would never really slap them.

Neither of them get enough screen-time to do something to annoy me.

Pinkie Pie is also one of my favourite characters, though, and she's done a few things...

Like in Swarm of the Century, where she didn't even explain why she needed the musical instruments. If she did in the first place the whole thing would've been a lot easier.

Fluttershy in "Putting Your Hoof Down". Most of it was funny and I understand why  she would react like that. But what she said to Rarity and Pinkie was just cruel. Imagine if someone told you that what you are most passionate about is worth nothing and just a waste of time. That was just too much.
