I would fight Discord. And, I would win.

 

I wouldn't use physical force, magic, firearms, or any other conventional strategy. Discord is, easily, one of the most powerful forces in Equestria. A normal confrontation would be simple suicide.

 

I would outwit him. While Discord has a great deal of raw power, his power makes him sloppy. He dramatically underestimated the capabilities of the Mane 6.

 

I would confront him directly, and I would use the power of rhetoric to somehow get him to incapacitate himself. This is a fairly time-honored tactic for taking on arrogant, reality-warping entities.

 

Of course, if by some off chance I don't win, then I would get brutally annihilated in a flurry of low comedy. A suitably epic if somewhat humiliating demise.

I could deal with some bizarre chaos, at least for awhile, so I'm thinking Discord. Well, eternal night isn't the worst thing either, though I'd probably develop a Vitamin D deficiency at some point. But there are pills for that...hmmm not sure anymore. Certainly not a Cockatrice, as I lack staring powers and don't want to turn to stone (though if you can be turned back at a later date may work as a substitute for cryogenic freezing, so I could visit the future but there are no guarantees either). Spike's whole thing was greed, so as long as I get out of his way, wouldn't be too terrible. I guess in answer to your question, I wouldn't really fight any of these characters, I'd just be amused by the bizarre impact their villainy would have on the world.

I personally would try to find a way around fighting first because I don't like fighting at all, but if I had absolutely no other choice I would probably join the pony attack against Gilda for personal reasons - she made Fluttershy cry! =( Or maybe Cockatrice since its the smallest. xD Or if parasprites is an option maybe even them since they are smaller though they are not really evil then again.

 

If I was feeling really really brave for some reason and I had to defend somepony maybe Cerberus or an Ursa Major...Ok maybe not...Unless I had magical powers anyway. xD
