That's kind of popular... but when the decline began varies. Some say after Cliff died (who is really overrated) some say when they made the Black Album etc etc.

 

Not sure how unpopular this opinion is but I think the term "selling out" is ridiculous.

What I meant was, as soon as the released RtL they started to decline. RtL is good, just not as good as Kill Em' All. And the process just kept going and going.

In my opinion, Master of Puppets and And Justice for All were both better than Kill Em' All and Ride the Lightning.

 

After And Justice for All, they didn't make a really good album again until Death Magnetic.

I think it's the right time to bring this up: I think Chocolate starfish and got dog flavored water was a good album. I don't like anything else they have ever produced, but that album was good in my opinion

Don't get me wrong I like it but to me it just feels like it's a collection of songs that don't really fit well together. Some songs are great but then there's some songs that I don't even understand why they were put there in the first place.

Well from what I've read, most critics praise that album. Anyways, I think King of Limbs is better than In Rainbows. From what I've seen, most people prefer In Rainbows.

Classical music is my favorite genre. 

Concert percussion is more fun than drumset.

Concert band deserves more appreciation as a musical ensemble.  

Jupiter is the best of The Planets suite.

I've always found that to be silly, considering all of the music is out now and we have access to so much more music now. Not to mention how easy it is to access music via the internet. I could care less about seeing a band in it's prime, I'd rather have access to their full discography.

I think In Through the Out Door is a great album. Don't understand why it receives so much hate. Also, Presence is a fantastic guitar album.

Here are some of my opinions: Daft Punk should've never made a new album and Radiohead is overrated. Radiohead had a few good songs, but weren't exactly good enough to be LEGENDS IMO. As for Daft Punk, they hadn't made an album in 8 years. If you can't think of anything in that much time, I'd say it's time to get out of the business, simple as that.

I don't know why Led Zeppelin gets shit for 'borrowing' from other artists. They weren't the only ones doing that. That kinda thing happens all the time in blues music. And they make up for it by twisting it and making it into their own thing. They weren't just plain covers.

 

Also, Dave Grohl should have stayed as a drummer.

In Rainbows is great but it was almost kind of a step back for Radiohead. They went back to a more conventional rock approach. King of Limbs felt really fresh and something they hadn't really done before.
