Creepiest song you like

Gourgeist

Recommended Posts

Without a doubt, it is Mein Teil. It doesn't seem very creepy to me anymore, but the first times, man it was really creepy.

It is a song about cannibalism and stuff, you can find what's the song is about on the internet if you wish to. It may be disturbing for some of you.

the Giygas theme from Earthbound horrified me as a kid. listining to it now its still pretty bad. also Ikana Valley theme from Legend of Zelda ocarina of time, i used to have nightmares with that as an overture. the silent hill theme, non gaming related eyepennies by sparklehorse and the whole  ummagumma album by pink floyd, you havent heard creepy untll you hear this album. more specifically the narrow way part 1 2 and 3 and sisyphus parts 1, 2,3, and 4.

What the fuck guys, 90% of the songs posted here aren't even close to creepy, just some soft metal songs. I mean, someone even posted Avenged Sevenfold. Guys, someone consider Avenged Sevenfold to be creepy? AVENGED. SEVENFOLD. CREEPY

WHAT. THE. SHIT

Ugh, enough with the disappointment, here's some really creepy shit

As a big Slayer fan, I can tell you that a majority of their songs can be classified as downright disturbing as opposed to just creepy, but I suppose this one fits the bill:

Slayer - Bloodline

Interesting that you bring up Slayer, because the first song that disturbed me when first listening to it was Eyes of the Insane, for the video alone.

Around the 2:55 mark, with the waking up from such an injury to the end with his suicide(?), creeped the shit out of me. Still does sometimes.

Interesting you should bring up Eyes of the Insane, because at the time I posted Bloodline, I was actually torn between which of those two songs to go with. Eyes definitely does have the more disturbing music vid of the two, but I must've decided that Bloodline 'sounded' creepier, vids aside.

I took it to the extreme.

Revolution 9 by The Beatles and Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict are two of the weirdest songs I know...so why not mix them together and listen?

This is so creepy.

If anyone remembers the "Candle Cove" creepypasta, then I think you will find this to be kind of creepy. Someone made a theme song for the mythical show. Creepy? Maybe, maybe not. Just thought I would share.

Sure, it's not as creepy as some of the earlier Black Sabbath songs. (The song "Black Sabbath" itself was probably as creepy as it got...) but Diary of a Madman is one of my favorite Ozzy songs, both from a lyrics and instrumental standpoint. You have to pay attention to the lyrics for it to be creepy, but that's why it works.

Not embedding since I'm on my phone, but easily the creepiest song I listen to is "This Love Is Fucking Right" by The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. It's a song about someone having sex with his sister. Sample lyric "you can't go home, after where you spent last night"

I love anything made by Nox Arcana, though technically being creepy is the point of their music.

Nox Arcana's songs are amazing to listen to, and are extremely atmospheric. Any of their songs can make your mind wander, and each one has a theme that you can visualize instantly, just by the arrangement.

I was gonna post Rubber Johnny...but I hate that song because its creepy...so no.

The song used for that Rubber Johnny video wasn't named Rubber Johnny (it was named Afx237 v7), though I never found the song itself to be creepy, the video for it was also more on the side of weird than creepy.

some music that seems creepy to some people is notably from Meshuggah:

Take from example the last song from their 1998's release "Chaosphere" called Elastic

A bit after 4:10, there is a kind of strange setup in the song with a frequency played with drums, then the frenquency is left alone with no instrument at all and this is where it gets creepy as hell, and the first time I heard it my ears could not stand it, listen to it at your own risks.

This song has a really chilling atmosphere, like you're in a dark old house, which the song makes me imagine perfectly. The video also tells a story set in an old house with a twist at the end.

Funnily enough, that part towards the end is literally every other song on the album played at the same time.

Here"'so what I'd say is mine, a song about the then-expected nuclear apocalypse (and it's last survivor). I personally perfer the original German version that blew up MTV in 1983 (that's what I've embedded here), but the ending lines of the English version are just straight up bone-chilling. I'm sure the original is no less so if you speak German.

This song is very relaxing but if you listen to the lyrics and understand the meaning of this song you'd understand why I posted this song here.

The original "Under My Thumb" by the Rolling Stones has a very disturbing meaning to it. But the Social Distortion cover captures the rage much more in my opinion.
